That is the ideal situation. I really try to take care of that business before my morning shower.

If only Americans embraced the concept of having bidets in their bathrooms. So much more convenient to wash your heiney that way than taking a shower.
You can use a watering can/cup/water bottle. I have to use water even for a piss. Outside my bathroom, I wet paper towels.

I'm not sure about those wet wipes. I have sensitive skin and prefer plain water.

Every mother knows about peri bottles...squirt bottles they give you at the hospital after you have a baby...you fill it with water and it has several tiny holes at the opening to give a nice squirt to the undercarriage after using the toilet. Great invention. In fact, I'm going to go dig around in my linen closet and see if I can find one from the old days.

What about dogs? Mine always try to follow me in there.
Not if I get the door closed first. Unfortunately, my boyfriend's bathroom has no door (it doesn't even have a 4th wall) so there can be 2 dogs and 4 cats watching me poop. hahaha.
I rarely poop there.

I'm always very amused when my dogs bring me a soggy tennis ball when I'm on the pot. Sometimes they'll gently place it right in the crotch of my panties.

Calvin follows me to the bathroom just about every time I go. Sometimes I can already be in there peeing and he realizes I'm gone and here he comes *tick, tick, tick, tick* little paws across the floor and stands in the doorway looking at me like "Hey, need any help?".

I rarely shut the door (I live alone) but my dad is visiting this week and Finlay is quite upset that he can't come in with me (because he won't come in if I'm going to shut the door)

I've actually put a little pillow on the floor in the linen cupboard for him to lay down while I'm in there

If I'm at my ex's house and even GLANCE toward the bathroom, his 3 dogs and 2 cats go running like a herd of elephants and rush to the bathroom. They LOVE being in there with me. The dogs will grab toys or a mouthful of food on the way, like they're going to be locked in there for a long long time. It really does crack me up.

The cats love to follow me in. It's so weird. Lily will jump up on my lap, and Buddy will sit on the floor and stare at me until I flush. When I flush, Lily likes to jump up and watch everything go down.

Lily also likes to sit on the side of the tub when I take a bath. Crazy cats.

If Jade is downstairs and hears me going to the bathroom, she will bolt upstairs to make sure she gets in the bathroom with me. What is with wanting to see what's in the toilet bowl?

It's cats in my house. I flush the toilet and their paws are on the seat with their noses in the bowl so fast to watch the swirly water. It's creepy.

Lmao, perfect. I close the door though and there are little paws that curl up under the door trying to scratch their way in. It's easier to just let them in lol. I'm usually the only one home when I poop, so kitties come in. One sits on my lap.

Haha, my cats used to do that. Suddenly a little paw would tentatively reach in under the door and feel around....a quick withdrawal....then the curl underneath and up onto the door, then a rat-a-tat of *bat* *batbat* *batbatbatbatbatbatbatbat*

This mother's never heard of them! Good idea though. They did have bidets at the hospital but once you went home you were left to your own devices.

One of my kitties does this! The other tries to take a bath with me! She "tests" the water temperature by putting her front leg in, then she tries to jump into the tub. (I don't let her since, well, I would prefer not to share a bath with a cat.)

They're both deeply interested in the goings-on of the bathroom.
