I love Luke too, but at this stage I just don't see how he can pull off being an action hero convincingly.

Harrison Ford is 9 years older than Mark Hamill and he did Indiana Jones 2008. They'll shape up Mark Hamill for it, no doubt.

And he was creaky in it actually. I'm not skeptical about Mark specifically. I am skeptical about all three. I just don't want my image of them to be tarnished.

Do you know that's part of the reason I didn't even bother with No. 3? I hated 1 and 2, wished I'd never even seen it. 4, 5, and 6 are the only Star Wars to me.
Having said that, I'm such a big old Luke-loving dork that I've read a lot of the novels that take place after 6 ends and they're pretty good and haven't ruined it for me.

Chrisensen didnt ruined SW George Lucas did. as for the trio im thinking its more of cameo appearances then anything major

^ He is horrible! I kept thinking, did I seriously just wait in line 3 hours to watch this wooden boy attempt acting?
I liked some parts of 1,2 & 3 (watching Yoda kick butt was fantastic) but I am 100% in love with 4,5 & 6.
