Tuesday I biked for 50 minutes, Wednesday I ran for 30 minutes and today I swam 3,000 yards in 55 minutes. Not as much as I was hoping to achieve because I was out of town AND had my period. I'll need to make up some workouts over the weekend.

No change on today's weigh-in. So, I'm still -2.

Yesterday, I did another hour on the treadmill. Ate 'okay' but not perfectly.

I'm telling myself that no change is okay, it's when the numbers go up that it's a problem. I may go to the gym again today. It is open tomorrow, so maybe then, instead. I'm thinking I'll be better off when we go back to school Tuesday. Fewer opportunities to graze.

Did W5D1 today. Did not feel particularly challenging. Let's see what tomorrow brings

Down a total of 8 pounds since my friend and I started running 4 weeks ago. Pants are a bit looser, yay! Bra is a bit looser, boo!

Food:
Steak and two pan fried eggs (with crisco spray), black coffee.

Banana, cup of red grapes.

Arugula salad with mushrooms, dried cranberries, sprouts, and balsamic vinaigrette. 5 oz of grilled pork loin with a chili lime sauce and a cup of the most amazing Puerto Rican rice and beans.

I have walked/ran 9 times this month. I may go out tonight also to make it an even 10. Usually go anywhere from 2 to 3 miles, less if I run more and farther if I walk more. My size 10 Old Navy Rock Star Skinnies are getting too big. Enough said.

Was a bit lazy this month and it shows in my tight clothes. Only worked out 14 days (not including my daily 250's).
My goal has been to work out at least 20 hours per month. This month it was only 17 hours but still not too bad.
Will try to do better in April.

Completely went off the whole "eating healthy" thing today.

Oh well, tomorrow is a new day!

Let's see ... Friday I went to a 45-minute spin class (followed by breakfast at Denny's). Saturday I biked 20 miles and yesterday I ran 5.5 miles. I lifted weights this morning and am planning on biking around 20 miles this afternoon.

Despite all this, I am feeling fat I had a crappy week of eating last week. Lots of traveling and my period. I think I ate every other meal at Panera! It's really discouraging that I will gain weight even with this amount of working out.

I was not on track last week. But, I'm trying to get back into a good routine in earnest this week. I lifted weights and ran 2 miles this morning, and I've avoided Easter candy.

divegirl - I think it's so awesome how much you accomplish in one week! I aspire to be at your fitness level someday Period week sucks anyway, it's probably mostly bloating! It's a new week, with a fresh start!

sarah42 - heh, I wish I was as good as you avoiding the Easter candy... pleasedontlookathechocolateallovermyface

I've discovered the best way to avoid the Easter candy is to buy my teenage daughters other things for their baskets: each got a tank top, nail file, one smallish chocolate bunny, a little Coach wristlet from the outlet and a bag of m&ms to share. I dipped into the m&ms, but not badly.

Not a great weekend, only exercise was a good walk with the dogs after dinner last night. We basically had Thanksgiving for Easter dinner, so too much food, but I didn't make gravy or stuffing since I'm the only one who likes them.

Still, no gain, so okay. Tomorrow we go back to school, so it also starts another week. To the gym I will go!

Aw, shucks!

It turns out I pulled a muscle in my back when lifting weights yesterday I biked 20 miles yesterday afternoon but when I woke up this morning, I could hardly get out of bed and couldn't stand up straight. I skipped my swim workout and am hoping I can still run this afternoon. This had better not derail me for too long!

oh gosh, I'm the WORST with updating.

did six days of cardio last week (plus one day of pilates!) and one day of lifting.

went to spin yesterday and today and did POP pilates earlier today. I want to start doing more POP pilates, rather than the pilates class I go to. Tomorrow I want to lift and do pilates.

Did W5D1 with my friend on Monday.

Tried to do W5D2 today, but my phone is a wee bit sensitive and paused the program in the middle of the routine. I finished off by using my stop watch Pretty sure I got in 17 minutes of run time.

Still eating well. I think I've finally broke the 140 mark. I've weighed in at 139 for 3 days now

I feel you. I was running ~50 miles a week for most of December and January, but a bad week of eating and I could still gain weight.

I find that when I'm training hard, it takes up so much time that it's easy to end up grabbing food out somewhere because I don't feel like cooking. Not to mention that I'm hungry all the time when working out that much and it's easy to snack too much.
