Anyone up for a pre-swim suit season fitness challenge?

I just ran a 5k with the boyfriend. We both won our age groups and both got personal bests! I did it in 26:30. It was a hilly course and I live in flatland, so I think I would've been even faster if it was flat.

The race benefited colorectal cancer so there were lots of poop-themed shirts and teams. It was pretty awesome. My favorite shirt read "Kick colon cancer in the butt!"
60 min Power Pilates and my 250's.
Did well this week with workouts, did fairly well with healthy eating.

My exercise today will consist of cleaning the house and walking the dogs later.

I know I reported my weight yesterday, but then remembered I said I'd do it on Saturday. Should have waited, because this morning, it showed that I'm now -2 pounds! Yes, eating smart and getting some exercise really does work.

did light yoga yesterday, went running today for an hour today, and I might get in some pop pilates later today.

Spring break is the week after next, and I definitely plan on going to the beach...I just wish you could see results instantly.

Well today I didn't do so well with food..I started of great with a banana and lots of strawberries and some soy yogurt and toast...but then I had a very rare visit from my dad and was not going to waste a good meal out with him! I admit it was delicious and I don't feel the least bit guilty because it was great to share that with him tomorrow is another day tho, good healthy eating shall happen!

Does anyone have any good snack ideas? I usually have a piece of fruit but I'm looking for some good evening snacks! I don't much like peanut butter tho.

Exercise was much better today, I tried out some more of the POP videos..this time POP cardio and POP spring fling toning! It was only half an hour but everything from my forehead to the back of my knees was sweating!!!

I love the Pop Pilates videos too!

My favorite snack right now is salsa. You can go sweet ( mango or pineapple salsa) or spicy depending on your food mood. There are just so many salsas out there: pico de gallo, green, corn and bean, peach, mango, thick and chunky, extra hot, the list goes on. I use cucumber slices as a substitute for tortilla chips if I'm being extra careful with calories. If not, chips are not even that bad if you can control your portion sizes.

I also like yogurt and granola.

greenjumper - salsa sounds so yummy right now!!! Love the idea of using cucumber slices.

No exercise today.

Food:
Black coffee, banana, 2 fried eggs (1 tsp butter), 1/2 cup quinoa.

Steak with peppers and onions, baby carrots, grape tomatoes.

Apple with sprinkle of cinnamon, drizzle of agave, 1 tbsp of natural peanut butter. Handful of pistachios.

1200 calories. I'm still hungry! But it's after midnight, so I'm done

Hemp milk? Ummm there's soo many in the organic section at one grocery store I know.
Did W4D3 today - not too bad. It's all in the head.

I ate croissant french toast stuffed with nutella at brunch today - ZOMG ! - totally worth the 1,000+ calories! Skipped the mimosas, though.

I'll be back on track for dinner with grilled chicken over an arugula salad.

Holy moly!

In searching for a snack to replace my usual chips and cookies for lunch, I bought some of those Laughing Cow cheese wedges. I'd never tried them before, but they are soooo good! I got the Creamy Swiss Light variety. Fiance loves them too. Only 35 calories for a wedge. I'm eating them with Triscuits for some fiber.
