Default Endometrial Biopsy I am having this done tomorrow UPDATE

I am worried about the results. Hope I don't have cancer! Anyone else ever have this done?

I have to schedule a colposcopy myself. Fingers crossed for us both, eh?

Hoping for a negative result for you!

I had one done recently. I am considering a Mirena IUD due to heavy menstrual bleeding, and my gynecologist did an endometrial biopsy to rule out endometrial cancer as the source of my bleeding. It does hurt a bit (feels like period cramps, apparently similar to having an IUD inserted) but it's over in a jiffy. Take a couple of Advil an hour before your appointment.

Good luck!

i had one of those 20 years ago and my experience was horrendous, unlike what DG posted.

i hope your experience is more like hers!

Good luck Wiregirl! I'll be watching to see what you post. I'm betting you're just fine.

TNB, hope your colonoscopy is just routine. The worst part about a c-scopy is the prep. The actual exam you will be out and not feel a thing.

Good luck to you too!
