I have to confess!

I use henna.

My hair in the winter, was always brown with a red tone. but in the summer it turned a brighter red. but not all over, in patches. people would ask me what happene to my hair. Who did such to me? WHy would i color my hair red in patches? why do i have a bad dye job? once a lady on the bus stop told me i wouldnt be able to get a job with my hair colored all crazy like it was. :pale: but it wasnt my fault. it was the sun. It brighten my hair red in strange patterns. and it wasnt pretty, it was ugly. So i discovered henna. my hair is not as bright in the summer as it use to get. but no more patches of red and people wondering what happened.

Anyone else like to confess something?

I will probably have more things to confess. but the henna thing's a starter.

:)

I'm in love with someone who isn't my husband. There ya go. I said it.

Why is that a confession again? What's the big deal using henna?

I get my eyebrows and face threaded but I don't hide that..is that confession thing too?

Lotsawaves 03-27-2013 08:10 AM

I wear hair extensions, press on nails, and spray tanner....My bathtub always has a brown ring around it. There are hair & nails all over my house. BUT I look good. :tongue5:

no one knows I do it!!

my closest friends and relatives has asked me why my hari doesnt change crazy colors in the summer anymore, i told them i wear more hats to block out the sun. i dont know why i feel i should keep this a secret. i just cant bring myself to tell people this.

I also have to confess that i took pens form work. My dad didnt pens, i said i would pick him up a pack after work one day. but i didnt feel like it. so i took some form work.

LOL funny.

I guess I don't have any confessions yet. I'm pretty open that it's not easy/natural for me to look good or a certain way. And guys better appreciate that. I don't think I'd even hide if I got plastic surgery or botox, etc. It is what it is... but who knows I might hide it one day.

I squeeze pimples and mosquito bites. I can't help it.

B-wavy 03-27-2013 09:59 AM

I will confess I am eating at Chick-fil-A.

At least there is a salad underneath the fried chicken strips.

This may be a future confession.

If using henna is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

Pimples I understand, but why squeeze mosquito bites? Nothing comes out of them.

Chick-Fil-A is one company I'll never give a dime to...with their gay-hating ways. They could serve organic-free-range-no-antibiotics-humanely-slaughtered-chicken-cooked-in-pure-heart-healthy-olive-oil-squeezed-by-vestal-virgin-feet-on-Sunday and I'll never eat there.

Not sure why henna is a big confession. I've been considering doing it for the longest, but it supposedly takes hours and right now, I don't have that kind of time. I barely have time to do protein and deep treatments once a month.

My new boyfriend and I haven't had sex yet and we've been seeing each other for five weeks. It's not that big of a deal, but considering I used to do it within around three dates, it's a big change for me.

I spend much too much MUCH TOO MUCH, much, much, much too much money on makeup in my everlasting search for the perfect foundation. :stop: Vanity, thy pseudonym is Curlypearl.

Okay, I confess that I've gone days using papertowels or napkins because I was too lazy to go to the grocery/drugstore for toilet paper. Oh and I took a roll from the hotel we stayed at on new years for home use since I didn't have any then either. :/

curlypearl 03-27-2013 02:52 PM

OK. Another confession.

Sometimes if I'm in a mad rush and running late in the a.m. and already have shoes on, I will crawl across my gorgeous new pretty carpeting to get something rather than walk on it with the shoes (don't have time to do all the untying and re-tying). Now you all know I am cuckoo for sure.

I want to see more confessions so I don't feel so idiotic! C'mon you guys - fess up.

My dog sleeps in my bed every night. Some people think that's gross, I guess. I don't even care. It's only gross when he's under the blankets at the foot of my bed, and he starts licking my toes all of the sudden. :p

I use terrible hair products in my hair. Not CG at all. Y'all already know that, though. I also love my blow-dryer and use it on the highest heat/power setting.

Sometimes I go way too long without cutting my toenails. I'll admit it, that's gross. But I'm SO bad at cutting them well. I always end up accidentally cutting them way too short. :( On that same note, I have monster cuticles on my fingernails, and they hurt too much to push back/remove, so I just don't do anything with them. My sister hates them with a passion.

I have a habit of spitting gum into tissues/pieces of paper in my purse when there isn't a trash can handy. Usually they're well covered, but every once in a while, I'll take a random item out of my purse, and it'll have nasty gum stuck to it. Ewwie.

Actually, there's a tiny bit of venom. But I suppose I should have said scratching.

I recently switched back to my chemical-laden skincare products after my failed attempt to use only natural products. My skin is oily and acne prone and after 5 years plus hundreds (thousands?) of wasted dollars, I went back to my oil-free, chemical products. My skin cleared up in days.

Why is it a secret? I've been a big advocate for natural products with no toxic chemicals. I'm too embarrassed to admit I fell off the wagon.

When i had a dog. I would take showers with her. it started when she was a puppy and would jump in with me. after a couple times i realized it was alit easier to scrub her down while she was in there with me. we both used mane and tail shampoo and conditoner. she was a chow so i wanted to make she her coat was nice and shiny.

juicyfruit 03-27-2013 05:54 PM

I bite my nails.
