Don't feel alone spring. My sister and I are both weirdo magnets. It makes life interesting.

Am I crazy or is spook a name for a undercover spy? I feel like I am making that up.

"Spook" does mean "spy" in British English. There's a British TV series called Spooks that's about undercover spies. It (the show) is called MI-5 in the U.S. I'm watching it on Netflix.

What the ding-dang hoy???

So today I'm in the hallway of my building and I run into another neighbor (about 10 years older than me) who just heard I was moving out. She and I were talking for a little while about it and then Anabelle got impatient and barked for us to hurry up and go outside. The woman laughed and said, "Anabelle, you're such a hot spook."

So I said, "What did you just say?"
She said, "Hot spook."
I said, "I just heard that expression for the first time the other day."

Maybe it's making a comeback? In Boston?

What?

This is too insane.

I don't get out much so I wouldn't know new expressions.

I know what it means now as a result of staying up too late trying to find out what it means.
