Explosion reported near finish line of Boston Marathon

1. This is really horrible.
2. Taking photos of someone who just lost their legs is just as tasteless as taking a photo of someone being hit by a subway train. Sharing those photos isn't much better. smdh
3. I'm confused. First I heard the suspect had darker skin or was black, but these guys look clearly white, and I'm hearing they're from Chechnya. Isn't that in Eastern Europe close to Russia?
4. I agree, The New Black, I guess they were getting bored and decided to leave a breadcrumb trail for police?

I have been watching coverage this morning. I does seem like they were trying to go out in a blaze, to be frank about it. It is actually a pretty common occurrence... copicide. They want to die, but don't want to kill themselves, so they go on a rampage. Things might have gotten a little too real for the other brother. I hope they catch him soon.

People were going running rampant with descriptors at first. A male with darker skin, someone from this country, someone from that country, etc.
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

CNN keeps saying the older brother did not drink and did not smoke and had no American friends. smh. I wish CNN would stop, for real.

^ The media does get fixated on the silliest things. I am sure they are driving ES crazy right now. I feel for them. I've had to demand news stations quit calling my office or face the consequences of hindering me from doing my job. They are relentless, and no matter how many times you tell them that you can not give them information, they keep asking. When they don't get it, they grasp at straws.

I want to know about this supposed military training they have had at 19 and 20 years old. Especially with one living in the states since age 7.

Have they said anything about the military training being through our armed services, or some other means?

I've heard none of that sh*t, but I've heard both are legal residents of the US. And people know them.

First they were saying the brothers had been here a year, and had previously received military training in Russia/Chechnya.

Now they're saying they've been here more than 10 years, and went to middle school and high school in Cambridge...and were/are essentially very Americanized. Apparently there's a sister somewhere, and the father at least is back living in Russia.

Are they arresting people who refuse to stay home? Kind of wonder how they're enforcing that one.

^ Okay. Thank you. My co workers have the tv on GMA, and that is where I heard about the suspected Military training and one of the brothers being in Cambridge since age 7. They have said nothing about them not being known, as far as I have heard.

They discussed the military training aspect when showing footage from the shoot out with police.

i heard they were from turkey. i have heard they are new to the us. I have heard they have perm resident status since 2007. I have heard so much ish. I just want the truth! no twisting things to suit anyones agenda. Just straight up honest facts.
Actually now they're calling the man on the run a "kid" and "it's too early to say why they did what they did." So they're really dialing back on what they were Chicken Little-ing a couple of hours ago.

Perhaps this guy has killed himself by now?
