Yesterday I realized that I didn't like the new coffee cups I bought. This is of vital national importance because I have my morning coffee (best time of the day) in these largish cups. I had sacrificed and not bought particularly pretty ones but they were inexpensive, large and utilitarian.

This a.m. I was making coffee and splash! all over the floor, broken coffee cup with spilled coffee/milk.

What a mess. But I had the instant thought that I had dropped it because I secretly didn't like it as much as I had liked other coffee cups. I should have gotten the prettier, more expensive ones for my happy a.m. ritual.

Has anything like this happened to you?

Best 1st day method: Super Soaker

Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.

I'm the opposite. I always feel like the stuff I don't love, lasts the longest

I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I can't recall anything like that happening to me, but I do tend be practical about stuff like that.

Go get the pretty coffee cups. Your daily coffee is special to you, so why not enjoy every moment of it? Plus you're worth it and deserve it.

It was literally a slip...slipped right out of your hands.

Something similar happened to me last night. I was messaging a friend on facebook and droning on and on and on in my usual negative, energy sucking way and then all of a sudden, poof, I deleted the bottom 75% of the message, all the bad stuff, unnecessary junk that i had no need to write to her in the first place.

Another literal slip; my finger just slipped onto the DELETE key. And my long, rambling message slipped off into cyberspace, never to be seen again. hahaha

My coffee mug is SO important to me. I honestly hate drinking out of the wrong kind of mug (usually small ones never work for me). I even have a specific thermos preference. I swear it changes the taste.

I have another one:
I bought this gift car for a restaurant that I no longer really like but that serves healthy, simple food. (GFs earn me discounts on gas for my car so I buy the GFs when I think of it ahead of time.) It was a restaurant I used to like but lost the taste for. And it was located close to where I lived, but I moved a couple of yerars ago so now it's not even convenient to go to anymore. But for some reason, I bought it. I had the GF laying around for months, and never forced myself to go. The other day, I put it in my wallet and told the kids, after soccer practice, we were going there for dinner. So after soccer practice, I started over that way, checked to see if I still had the GF...and it was gone!

I looked in my wallet, in the armrest and glove bo of my car and looked in the drawer I had been keeping it for all these months. It's gone! "Slipped" right outta my wallet.

I'm ticked off that I'm out $25 but glad I don't have to eat there!
