What are you eating now?

Munchy, I make mine more in spirals like pasta and I have used basil pesto. I grow my own basil, so I'm always trying to find ways to use it.

This morning I am having a boiled egg and 2 slices of nitrate free bacon. I made my green smoothie, but it got stuck in my bullet, so I had to leave it in the frig.
That's the one I bought.
Some soup I made. It has lentils, onions corn, black beans, tomato puree, peppers, a little ground turkey and a lot of spices. Really tasty.

Nothing exciting yet..and I am starving. I've already looked at the menu at Taco Mac to see what I'm getting later. Not a great place to eat but that's where we are watching the game. I'm thinking steak fajitas.
I am making my husband and 4 sons up pork chops some with bbq sauce and some with a herb rub and seasoned red potatoes. For myself I am having Trader Joes Harvest Grains blend cooked in vegetable broth and added a bag of Edamame to it ( I made enough to share with the guys if they want it as a side dish with their pork)

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
Grilled avocados.Oh mah guh, so good.

Leftovers from eating out at a Mexican restaurant last night...a whole deep fried avocado stuffed with chicken fajita meat and some kind of cheese/cheese sauce. It was breaded and rolled in panko breadcrumbs. Wow!

Just had a high fiber english muffin with avocado, tomatoes, an egg white, and fresh cracked salt and pepper. I'm drinking a coffee right now.

My attempts at going GF aren't so successful right now

Yum but I don't have a real grill.

Almost finished with fried rice with beef and tofu. About to wash it down with some good old Coca Cola Classic.

Homemade meatballs (the little Greek kind) with a stirfry of quinoa, fresh spring green, soya sauce, chickpeas, chilli powder and sultanas for some sweetness. Topped with a dollop of plain Greek yogurt, delicious!

I like OJ in the morning too, but only alone or after I eat to wash it all down, oh so refreshing.

I don't do this for health reasons but I found out that apparently it is better to not mix and some say wait 30 mins after eating before drinking. I don't do this. I drink right after I'm done eating.
