spinoff: Any Honda haters out there?
So the thread about buying a used car got me thinking, I have a Honda and love it. My husband has a Honda and loves it, and his last car was a Honda. Generally speaking, people have good things to say about them.
Anyone have any bad experiences out there? Im wondering if its all hype that they are such great cars, but Im thinking its factual. Im curious to see how many Honda haters are out there.

I've never had one, but my experience with one was through a guy.... His car (a civic) was a piece of junk. It was always springing a leak, breaking down, etc. It was not old, and he took good care of it. It was just a lemon.
I do think it was that particular car, because everyone else I've known with a Honda thought it was great. I'm biased now because of the junky one.

well i don't own a honda but i have an acura and my boyfriend drives a honda. we love both of our cars. his next car will be a honda, he's getting a new one soon. i'm planning on keeping my car around for a while longer, it's a '98, and getting another acura when it's time and the finances are available
so i voted yes!

I'm that way about Toyotas. I'll never own one because my parents had one and that thing was a lemon. It never worked right. I think at one point they replaced the engine.
I personally love Hondas. They're not sexy, but they get the job done. I've had two.

I have a '97 Accord and I love it! It has 140,000 miles on it and never gives me any trouble. I would buy another in a heartbeat!

I learned to drive a stick on a Honda Civic! Lots of memories associated with that little car!

The Honda Element is one weird looking car. It might grow on me, but for now, it looks like a mini-hummer wannabe.

I am a Honda fan. They aren’t the most stylish or sporty looking, but they are generally good dependable cars that won’t give you any headaches. I have beaten a couple Accords into the ground (i.e. putting well over 100K miles on them) without any problems. Every car manufacturer will turn out their lemons, including the supposed “dependable cars” (the Toyotas, Subarus and Hondas).

I love me 99 Civic and I'm sure my next car will be a Honda as well. (Hopefully they will make a hybrid SUV, like Toyota and Lexus -- their new models should be coming out soon).

I have a Civic and love it! Before that, I drove a 92 Accord and it was great. My family is a Honda family. Right now, I can't imagine driving anything else. Great cars.

I was the one who started the "buying a used car" thread. All these posts convice me even further to look seriously into Honda's. I know someone with one too and he loves it, it's got a ton of miles on it, but zips right along without any problems.
All this helps me a lot, makes me feel much more confident in this whole process. I'm going to research Honda's like crazy so I know what I'm talking about when I go to test-drive! THANK YOU!

My first car was a 1996 Civic. Loved that car.
Next was the 1999 CRV, we still have it and it runs like a dream.
We are Honda people.

There's one no?
I'd expect more, just on probability of there being some flaws or bad salesmen or something somewhere!
I've never had a Honda. Wouldn't be right for me to vote, would it?
