Default Spotting for almost a week...

I've been having a discharge made up of old blood for nearly a week now. There's isn't very much of it, but it's been consistent. I don't think I've ever had this before. My period is due for this weekend, but I'm pretty sure this isn't my period because I haven't had the cramping, bloating, and fatigue I usually experience in the first days of my period.

I'm not on the pill, so I don't think it has anything to do with that.

I remember having small light brown stains in my underwear when I was a kid and never knowing what it was. I wonder if there is any connection between that and what's going on now.

Any ideas? Thanks for reading guys.

Wish I knew what to tell you, Moody. I have done that a time or two, but not in years. I would either have a short period or a very bad one after spotting.

I've been spotting too. I stopped taking the pill a few months ago, I have large fibroids and I might be perimenopausal. That all could explain things for me.

Yea. I just have to find a GP. I going to a child/adolescent health clinic for a long time, but I turned 19 recently. If I don't get a real period in the next few days, I'll go to a doctor.

It could be endometriosis or fibroids or something else or absolutely nothing. Try not to worry too yet but get it checked out.

I've had this a number of times: when I was pregnant, when I had fibroids and when they couldn't find anything "wrong" at all. It freaked me out, but turned out to not be worth worrying about. But do go see your doctor, to put your mind at ease.
