Humiliating moments!

What are your most humiliating moments that have haunted you since they happened?
Mine are all to do with replying to someone who wasn't talking to me, tripping over in public or having a particularly vocal stomach in a quiet place!
The universe has it out for me! :confused2:

Farted accidentally in class. Yeah, 4th grade.

GoldWaves 06-07-2013 12:03 PM

That sucks! Haha

First year in law school, one last hurrah before finals. Drinking something called Irish margaritas. Ran into someone from school and it sounded like a good idea to have sex under the bar. It was an extra one that would be pulled out on the patio in the summer. This happened in the late fall.

Having sex when suddenly someone pounded on the bar and yelled at us to get the F out of his bar. When the guy and I crawled out, the whole place cheered. I was mortified and didn't plan on ever telling anyone.

We walked back to the guy's house and the bartender has already called the guy's roommate to tell him what happened. The guys were regulars there.

It's been more than 15 years since it happened so I can laugh about it now, but it was humiliating at the time. I also quit drinking for some time. :-)

OMG. Lolo. I am mortified for you in between tears of laughter!

This... Basically in someone's face!!! Bent over the desk to pick up a pen he (I think) teasingly threw on the floor.

This is NOT my most embarrassing moment.

My early life sucked. So much embarrassment. Mostly period related. :(

CurlyCanadian 06-13-2013 05:14 PM

Not my most embarrassing, but the most recent!

There was a horse show at my parents this weekend and some issues came up with the sound system. For some reason, nothing would come out. My brother had gone to check the speakers, while some of us were sitting around the secretaries booth. My Mom asked one of the women if she needed to leave for coffee, or a bathroom break or anything. I said "K's fine, I brought her a coffee awhile ago, the cup is now empty, she can pee in that!"

My brother came around the corner hardly breathing. Speakers were fine, and I had just spoken to about 200 people over 100 acres

Where do I begin?

curlypearl 06-14-2013 08:37 AM

Curly Canadian, that is hilarious. :laughing3:

juanab 06-14-2013 11:02 AM

CC, great way to test the speakers!

At least none of us are alone in these humiliating times! :sad2:

Farted in someone's face in dance class. While my butt was in the air. I was in 6th grade. Terrible.

I accedently flashed my English class giving an oral book report in 9th grade. It was mortifying! ! I tend to talk with my hands and the teacher suggested I put my hands in my pocket or behind my back. I had on a sun dress that had pockets so I put my hands in my pockets and while talking I was clutching the material and then my hands flew up and my dress went with my hands. The only good thing about it was I had on cute panties and not granny panties.

One time when I was younger, I was hanging out with my older sister and older cousin. They were dancing around the room and singing at the top of their lungs while I was making popcorn in the kitchen. Suddenly, they came into the room and sat on the kitchen table (we were alone without parental guidance). So I brought the popcorn over and sat between them, but they got up right as I sat down and the table caved right down the middle and the sides flung up and hit me. When my mom finally got home, they blamed it all on me (which I guess it was my fault), and tried to fix the table.

I was an "early developer" and went to a local public pool when I was about 11 or 12 to hang out with the cool kids. We were all standing (me with my new bikini) and a huge bug landed on my breast without me knowing. Someone in the circle pointed it out, and I immediately swatted, pulling my entire bikini top down while getting the bug off.

For the next year, random kids at school would say "hey, there's a bug on your shirt."

Yesterday at my friend's wedding, I was walking down the venues steps after the ceremony was over and we were going to cocktail hour. The steps were slopped and carpeted and the heel of my pump got caught in the carpet and I almost fell in front of about 30-50 people. Smh.

I am not easily embarrassed. I have flashed people, been busted having sex numerous times by different people (that's mostly with the same person over a 6 year period and as long as it was not a parent, I was fine) , walked around in my drawers and crop top one night at a party at my boyfriends house (not much different than a bathing suit), said crazy stuff at the wrong time, *and I have had some epic falls! Someone normally has to help me up. I'm too busy laughing at myself, and I think that ability helps. One of the few things I can think of involved getting my period for the 2nd or 3rd time at 6 Flags and not being able find a pad or tampon. People were pointing at me and saying "awwww" for quite some time and my friends grandma (mom basically) was mad at me. Why I do not know. She was 80 and pissed off in general by that point.

Most of the moments that mortified me involved my father in a very public diabetic rage.
