Name a fashion trend you find puzzling or ugly

uggs with shorts or mini skirts.

80 year old people dressing like today's teens. i dont want to see my grandparents dressing like my baby cousins. it just weirds me out. pull your pants up grandpa.

i actually love skulls and skeletons. i dont have them on scarves or anything. I just have jewlry, and figurines, pictures and such things.
I'm a sugar skull fan, so I have them o. My jewelry. I also have gauges :P they are only a size 2 though, not half my earlobe.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks uggs+shorts is atrocious. Lol
Also yellow, or bright blue colored lipsticks.

Uggs. Any time of the year. I just don't like them, and, I basically live in a swamp so the girls who wear them down here any time of the year look like fools >.>

Although I never really thought about it much until recently I also hate extreme lipliner. Where you can actually SEE the lipliner outline. It just looks ridiculous.

When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

I remember having powder blue lipstick.

I wore the lipstick when I would wear my SUPER baggy houndsooth pants and a tight black midriff showing top.

I thought I was so cute.

It was about 20 years ago. It was definitely some time between '89-'94.

Just typing out the outfit, I felt ridiculous. But I swear I thought I was cute.
TRBL and PerriP like this.

Mix of 3s, thick, coarse, medium porosity

Current hair styling technique: rake with a scrunch at the end. (works with my coarse hair)

pw: curls

Known HGs: KCCC, homemade fsg, honey
I had a blue lipstick (in the mid-80s) but it changed color according to my mood (according to the packaging!!!) like a mood ring, but for lips LOL
Modified CG since Dec 2011

I didnt realize skulls were a trend. I have these really cute skull, sparkly earrings.
non-prescription eye glasses. Glasses are a pain, why would you deal with that if you didn't want to? It's mind boggling to me. but doubly so the oversized ones that cover up half their face. I saw some the other day, that were practically touching her lips. It left me contemplating if she could smile without getting her lenses dirty.

Minxy, your outfit sounds precious! That would have to be mid 80's or early 90's rave makeup. Blue lipstick was made for the black lights.

Some of the makeup trends birthed in the 60's are pretty funny, but you have to thank the woman who pioneered it, if you wear/like makeup. It introduced colors that had never been done before, gave women more options, and started the whole men wearing makeup (gender *bleep*) trend in the 70's and 80's. Pretty nifty stuff came from funky lipstick.

I don't know if this has been said already, but the dirty spray-tan look. Fake tans can look nice... But not when you try to go 4 shades darker then your natural tone. it looks terrible!
