I'm blind as a bat and the fake glasses thing is really annoying. I mean, I'm not going to start wearing a hearing aid as a trend. My ex's gf has those ridiculously huge glasses! lol I almost laughed out loud the first time I saw them on her.
I feel the same way. having cataracts/ gluacoma/ being blind is not a fashion trend.

Cookie puss, that's what we call it cuz it looks like you were eating cookies.
In the 90's i believe, back home this was a trend among prostitutes so you would know they were open for business.

OMG I always felt a little annoyed about the fake glasses look too. My eyesight is bad and when people wear glasses and don't need them I think, why are you doing this to yourself???? Do know how difficult, frustrating, and expensive it is to have to wear glasses??????

Pastel floral print jeans. wtf. about the only place to clothes shop in my town is Maurice's & idk what is up with all the minty-pastel & floral colored everything this season. Not only jeans but shirts, and the colors look horrible on my warm skin tone.
You have a Maurice's! I loved that store when I lived in VT. Where I live now people have never heard of it.
Yes I love my Maurice's, for the most part. Sometimes the trends baffle me though. But most of my shopping money goes to them anyways lol.

This always killed me too. I've had bad eyes since I was 9 & hated glasses my entire life. Never thought I looked good in them & hated wearing contacts too, never could find any that were comfortable. Finally bit the bullet & got Lasik. My prescription was so bad I couldn't read the E at the top of the chart & it took me longer to heal bc of that but 4 months later I can say without a doubt it's the best $3500 I've ever spent. Why anyone would wear fake glasses is beyond me!

That is another reoccurring one (along with the yellow and blue lipstick). Both started in the 60's, and make a come back every 20-30 years. 20 years in this case.
Extreme lip liner is back now?

That's what I was wondering. Thankfully, it hasn't caught on here. I also haven't seen some of the other trends mentioned come back. I haven't seen crocs on anyone but kids in at least three or four years and nobody ever wore those cloven hoof platform shoes.

I'm not a fan of skinny jeans and heels. I've also never been able to get into some of the extreme booties worn with dresses.

I have a pair of ballet flats with a round toe and spikes on the heels, that I plan to wear with skinny jeans when the weather is appropriate. Some of your eyes are going to be burning if you see me!

For those who don't like skinny jeans and heels, what other jeans would you wear with heels?
Or do you just not wear heels and jeans together?

I wear boot cut or flare (not extreme flare) jeans with mine. I have these exact jeans & shoes. I just don't do skinny jeans, I think they look ridiculous on me.

Name a fashion trend you find puzzling or ugly-imageuploadedbycurltalk1372376131.922140.jpg

But I also live in a town of 600 in the middle of nowhere & own 4 pairs of muddy cowboy boots, so take that for what it's worth. I wear heels maybe 1x a month. I think city vs country fashion really is different.

I am not a huge fan of the basic pointy-toed, high heel pumps w jeans but I think some women can pull off that look w/ skinny jeans. Personally, I prefer a chunkier heeled shoe or a slightly more rugged high heel shoe w/ jeans (skinny, bootcut, flare, bf or whatever). High heeled booties, open toe booties, high heeled oxfords, platforms, high heeled clogs high heeled loafers, wedges, etc can look good w/ different types of jeans IMO.

LOL every other kind, why? I generally wear a little flare or bootcut. I love jeans and heels, that's all I'd wear, even on dates. But I've started the skinny pant thing. Also now I prefer dresses because I've gained weight and jeans are uncomfy on my stomach.

Skinny jeans remind me too much of tight-rolling back in the day. I accidentally tried on a pair once. I felt like I should be digging up some scrunched socks and putting beads on my on my shoelaces.
