Default Ts and Ps Please

My dad goes in for surgery tomorrow to remove the cancer spots on his liver. If they can't do it endoscopically (sp?) it will be very invasive and he will have a long recovery. Any Ts and Ps and good curly vibes would be greatly appreciated.

They can't do it laparoscopically (where was my head last night?) so it's a 7 to 9 hour surgery with a month recovery. Thanks everyone.

Update on my dad. They have moved him from ICU into a private rom. He is doing remarkably well. He has been able to get in and out of a wheelchair once and they have been able to remove all tubes except the one in his back for the epidural. They are expecting another 2 to 3 days in the hospital if he can continue to improve. He has a month long recovery and then 3 more months of chemo. The doctors are very optimistic that he will beat it for good this time. Thank you all so much for your support. It means so very much to me.

Jess, that's great! Your dad must be very strong to be recovering so quickly. Just 2-3 days more in the hospital? That's amazing.

Please continue to tell us how he is doing. This is very encouraging news.
