I can where either one might work. What about painting it with tea? I've done that with cotton - not sure if it would work with silk.

I boiled some tea then, using a paint brush, painted the fabric giving me the perfect creamy color. I've also tea tied a bathrobe. Might coffee work?

Thanks so much everyone for your feedback! I actually ended up buying the white ones which look ivoryish in my living room that does not get a lot of light. But maybe some DIY types out there will try out all the great tips that were shared here.
