Eeeekkk! I want all of the above - I love all your guilty pleasures. I forgot about all my other guilty pleasures since I have been so focused these days on jewelry, but yes - purses drive me wild.

I read forever on the purse forum and try on 20 or 30 before I buy one, then I return it and get another, then I return it.... buy another - dept. stores are my downfall because I can always return and start again. It's an addiction - like a crack fix.

And makeup - don't get me started. The only item I have more of than makeup is curl potions.

But Curlyminx, I will gladly give you all my pens. Couldn't care less. Hate office supplies. I'm an Exec. Assistant and erstwhile secretary. Unapologetic.

I, too, am a pen hoarder. I've been known to drool over other office supplies as well. (minxy, have you seen Office Space? with the red stapler? hee) It's possible I may have a few small items that found their way into my desk here at home from previous office jobs. And my guilty pleasure is going to be purchasing a *real* fountain pen for myself. I've wanted one FOREVER.

I keep thinking about this thread.

Yoga clothes. I don't have many, but will spend the money on pants or a top. If asked to pay the same amount for something I'd wear to work, I'd never do it.

I just meant the Sephora website for Brazil. Like amazon.co.uk is the Amazon website for the UK.

If you're in the US, all you need to know is how lucky you are, cause makeup here is crazy expensive. For reference, a mac lipstick costs about 40 USD down here.

Oh god, please please tell me what kind it is, pictures would be helpful. DO YOU PEOPLE NOT REALIZE HOW IMPORTANT A GOOD STAPLER IS????"?

Sincerely,
your fellow freak (for me it is more sharpies & highlighters - MUST have all the colors!)

You don't realize how important a good stapler is until you have a crappy one. I also love office supplies but I haven't splurged in a very long time. I think I love them so much because they bring back good memories of starting the school year with brand new everything.

Don't laugh. It's a swingline. Not just for small stapling, for your packets.

A heavy duty staple remover. OMG! Be still my beating heart!

You guys are making me laugh so hard my raspberry pie is threatening to make a quick exit out my nose!

Reading silly, funny, happy threads on Nc.com is another guilty pleasure for me.

My boss has a really great stapler, it's regular sized but electronic and quiet, not the loud CHUNK noise that most electric ones make. I confess I sometimes go into his office to use it because it makes such a pretty noise

Sad news, curlies: my bi-color retro Bostitch is acting up. I had to resort to the mod-mini in green this morning. I am very disappointed. (Yes, I have a back-up stapler.)

As for fountain pens, I also have a Waterman, but the nib is too.......wide. I carry it as a back-up. (Yes, I see that I have a thing about back-ups.)

Oh, happiness, I have lots of fountain pens to research! Maybe I will make a spin-off thread to ask (annoy) y'all with lots of questions in a bit.
