Hopefully the episodes are on my dvr, and I can catch up later.

Is Kate Bosworth ill?

Also! The BELK accessory wall? Project Runway, this is not good. This should be your clue that something has gone terribly, horribly wrong. I have been in a Belk. It is overwhelmingly old lady clothes (and I don't mean like fashionable old lady, I mean elastic waist pants and those tops that have sail boats on them) and an under-staffed Clinique counter. Maybe there is a really nice, upscale Belk somewhere but I've never been there.

Thanks for the reminder; I had no clue S12 was starting yesterday.

It was a good first episode. Not sure why the loser put high heels with that outfit because I think more casual shoes would have been a better match.

Was Sandro's model's labia actually visible or did she just have camel toe? Anyone know? I cant imagine they'd black it out for just camel toe?

oh, so that is what my DVR was recording last night. I hope this season is better. I don't think I even got through more than 3 episodes last season

It was visible. In the workroom, several designers commented how they could tell his model was a real woman because, in their words, "her vagina was hanging out".

I wonder why she or Tim Gunn or somebody didn't insist that he modify the outfit? And I wonder why Zac, Nina and Heidi didn't have anything to say about it?

It is odd...Did Tim see how it was cut before they left the work room? In the past, Tim would have said something.

The judges mentioned something about the cut and whatnot when they were able to get a closer look.

I watched the episode...I have no idea if it was hanging out...they would probably block for either..hanging out and camel toe. Must have been really bad.

Lots of egos this time around. I thought the same thing about Belk...really? We've gone from Saks...Blue Fly...Nordstroms? I think...and now Belk.

I loved the pink, orange, fuschia dress!!! I loved that they now are getting a closer look.

I think they said something about Belk being Midwestern. I take offense to that!

I'm finally caught up. I am so in love with African prints right now, that I am said that that lady went home in favor of keeping the weirdo because he adds drama. Oh Project Runway. I see we haven't changed.

I'm already over the Russian

Say what you want but his tacky, temperamental ass can sew the hell outta some clothes!

I kinda liked the concept of the racer-FRONT dress...but I wish the white fabric hadn't been sewn to it but rather had been a little shrug or jacket worn on top.

Helen should have been the one to go home IMO.

I liked the African (Senegalese??) woman's dress, too.

Is Sue gonna be this season's one trick pony?

I've not been able to get into this season. I keep fast forwarding (yada, yada) to the runway show and deleting.

Yeah..this season is annoying so far.. I wish they would fine less whiny people... I guess they can't know that until they put them in front of the camera. They need to cut the show back to an hour from 1 1/2 hours.

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the longer length but I agree that I could do w/o all the whining and drama. I just want to see more of the garment construction and any little bit of the pattern making and draping technique.

LOL! Alright I will give you the hour and 1/2 if they give us less of the individual whiny interviews.

I think during the last season (the season w/ Dmitry and a woman designer also from the former Soviet Union...they called them Boris and Natasha lol), they spent some "interview time" flashing back to the designers' youth and early career, showing family pics and describing where they came from and what had motivated them to pursue this career.

I found that a lot more interesting than all the backbiting and whining, and helped me understand their aesthetics and POV more.
