Default Best mosquito bite remedy?

Hands down, what the best, fastest, longest-lasting remedy you've used to combat itchy mosquito bites?

I like peroxide, but have heard Vicks or toothpaste work really well.

Windex??? just kidding.

I've used this product that helps the itching, but I can't remember the name of it. I have used Preparation H and it helps them heal quicker. I have several as I'm typing this so I will try the PH when I get home this evening.

Mosquitoes love me. I recently heard that basil was a good repellent. I'm considering wearing some around my neck.

Benadryl makes a topical gel that works really well. When I'm covered in bites, I use Eucerine anti itch lotion AND the Benadryl.

I would think the banana would attract all insects.

Org. Apple Cider Vinegar (it's a cure all)
Baking Soda mixed with Witch Hazel or water to make a paste.
Milk mixed with water (I know baking soda and buttermilk paste is good for stings so it seems like milk and baking soda would work too)
Lavender Oil

Ice packs and Benadryl or Sudafed work well.

*I've heard the toothpaste thing too but read it was actually the mint alone in toothpaste that cooled and relieved so that gives a few more options.
