Seriously, who was wrong here?

I worked with a woman once who refused to fly, unless her entire family was with her. If one of her accounts required travel, I usually did it for her. I didnít mind, although I thought it was a little crazy and strange that the boss tolerated it. BUT I thought she should be a bit more appreciative that others did her work for her, especially since flying became such a hassle post 9/11. SoÖI expected she would drive if we had to travel to local client meetings. Was that wrong on my part or out of line? We actually got into an argument because she told me she thought I should drive to a local client meeting because she drove last time.

Did you explain to her why you felt she should drive?
From Michael Berg:

Every person has a unique connection to the Creator that can never be extinguished, and every person has a great soul that can manifest important things in our world. To make a person feel less than they are because of something inside themselves, be it faith, race, or sexual orientation, is the greatest sin of all."
Yep^^

Do you get overtime or comp time for the travel?

Not only should she be driving, she should be treating you to lunch.

Ungrateful!!

It could be that because she doesn't fly, she doesn't count that as someone doing her a favor - it's probably not even on her radar that someone has done it on her behalf because she doesn't do it.

However, she should be driving!!! and buying you lunch

ETA - is it possible that no flying is actually written in to her job description/agreed as part of her contract? that could be why it's tolerated (?)

If you were doing HER a favor by flying, she should be doing all the driving.

If you were stepping up and flying for the benefit of the COMPANY, then you should be alternating driving.

If it was for one of her accounts and you had to fly in her place, then it was for the company AND her account. This would be a good example of someone feeling "entitled."

Do you not work with her anymore?

I think she's wrong as all outdoors. And very selfish, to boot.
