Does anyone know of a lavender perfume

Seven or eight years together before marrying is smart. Good.

What do you hope to do with your degree? Is there an area in which you want to specialize? I've always thought that caring for coma patients would be very peaceful.

I want to do Trauma/PICU/NICU for a handful of years, have kids, and then go back to school when my kids are in school to get my master's so I can work as a Nurse Anesthetist. I would also love to eventually get my PhD in nursing so I could be an instructor at a nursing school, but I hate going to school, so I don't know if I'll ever get to the PhD stage. We'll see!(:

It's good to have goals. It doesn't surprise me that you know what you're doing.

I'd be in a perpetual panic, working with infants.

Now, describe Mr. Fiance, please.

He's going to school back home in NC, getting his degree in Biomedical engineering.
6'1", with blonde hair and blue eyes. So smart he's a little stupid sometimes. He's one of the nicest people I've ever met, he's more patient with me than I usually deserve, and he makes me be a better person just by being with him. He also has the uncanny ability to realize what I want or need before I do.

I love him more than anything.

What's happening in your life? It's been a while since I've checked in!

I like the sound of Mr. Fiance. Just make sure all those same qualities are still in place when the time comes to say "I do."

What's going on with me: I adopted Mia, a foster girl I had for about a year and a half before taking the plunge. She's low and wide and sweet and funny, and I'd like to get her into pulling, but not while wearing some monster spiked collar to make her look like a demon (as always, courtesy of dumb owners). I think we'll start with milk jugs. I'm not sure — I have to do more research.

Everyone else is fine, although Polly lost a leg last winter. She's just fine now, but I'm still sad about it at times. Claude remains Mr. Wonderful, and Sadie-Kate is still rascally sometimes. Darned cute, though. She had an injury a month ago, but has recovered fully, I'm glad to report.

Professionally, I'm helping out a freelance client more regularly, going in to the agency part time, while still keeping my other clients. Sometimes I love it, and sometimes it's a pain. I think it's stretching my skills, which is good, but it's also boring, in that what more can I say about XYZ product? It's pretty, it works well, and......moving on.

I'm really glad it's almost autumn.

How's the weather where you are? I like hearing about weather.

It's weirdly cold and dreary today. It's been well over 90 degrees every day since I moved in, and today it's mid-fifties. I definitely look like a walking sorority stereotype with my leggings/uggs/north face.

Poor Polly! One of my very best friends has a 3 legged dog, and once he got used to the missing leg he does everything her other dogs can do! (Including jumping the 6' high fence, much to their chagrin). I'm glad they're all doing well, though! Sadie-Kate is the chewer, yes? I remember a list of things she had destroyed on a thread a while back. And why are spiked collars a thing? They're horrible, and they look painful for the poor doggies....

I think it's to make them look fearsome, instead of simply like dogs who are strong. The collar is for decorative purposes only; the harness is the contraption that allows them to pull a sled or cart or whatever.

It's part of the negative mythos of the breed, imo. Mia is anything but ferocious, but due to her build, she can tug like no dog I've ever leashed before.

The weather sounds weird there. It's weird here, too. We had two 90+ degrees days in a row last week; by Friday, I turned on the heat. Air conditioning on Tuesday and Wednesday (for the dogs, mostly); heat on the weekend. Nuttiness.

I just checked the condition of my own well-past college-gal Uggs. I think they're good for another year (thank heavens, given the price). Maybe new linings, though. That always helps. Do you line yours, or am I the only one who goes that far?

Oh, and Polly does everything the same, too. The only difference is that I have to take her to the vet for nail trims now. She won't let me near her with the clipper, and I can't stand to trick her into coming into the room for a treat then ambushing her.

She loves the vet now. All the ladies say, "Polly!" in high, happy voices when she comes in the door, and she goes nuts with wagging. It's sweet. I give her a secret extra treat afterward. The other dogs don't need to know all her secrets.

Linings? Um....they're sheepskin so the inside is fluffy? I honestly can't even think of how to line Uggs without covering up the fluffy goodness that keeps my toes warm. And yes, expensive, but quite possibly the best $165 I've ever spent!

My dog hates the vet. And the groomer. But he loves car rides, even though the only places we ever really take him are the vet, the groomer, and to Kansas, which he also hates.

I add an extra footliner, because my toes are always cold. As in, sleep in socks all summer cold.

I'm feeling the urge to go sniff some Stetson. I haven't sniffed it in many years.
Ha! I finally remembered it was Jeepy who used to post about a particular site she used for fragrance oils, so I did a search & found the site, AND, missy, this particular person has any number of options for fragrances and strength of fragrance, one of which is an Eau de Parfum that is "made super strong containing over 30% Pure Fragrance oil & perfumers alcohol. Highly concentrated making it very long lasting." So there. Oh, and please note that within the drop-down box for the list of fragrances Lavender is a tad bit out of alphabetical order and is listed in amongst the Lemon options.
If it wasn't said before: Lavender
