Remember when you held my hand
Remember when you were my man
Walk talk in the name of love
Before you break my heart
Think it over, think it over
Roll it over in your mind
Why don't you dance with me
I'm not no Limburger
Just a limburger
thank you, Fifi! that made my day! that song is the soundtrack of my first year at university!
You are more than welcome! I love them. I guess it was 79-80 (I was 4) when I started listening to them. My brother had their first album B-52's and Wild Planet. I would spend hours looking at the red and yellow album covers, while playing their music, with my brother strobe light going (which I still have), while dancing all over their rooms and rolling around on the water bed. I had heard they were "X-Rated Rock" so that made me want to hear them more. Of course i did not understand any of the metaphors or innuendo's of their lyrics at that age, and they didn't cuss once, so I had no idea what was wrong with the raving lunatics who spoke against them. They were amazing, and from Athens Georgia therefore I may be related to one or more of them. Lol.
I always loved to hear about the different soundtrack moments they brought to peoples lives. Sound of my childhood, Help! The Devil's in My Car was the soundtrack for many 16 year old who just got their license. Lol.
This one was mine the day before I went to register for classes in High School (89)
Turn your watch, turn your watch back. About 100,000 years. 100,000 years. I'll meet you by the 3rd pyramid. I'll meet you by the 3rd pyramid. Aw, come on. That's what, I want. For meet in Mesopotamia, oh oh. I ain't no student (feel this vibration) of ancient culture (i know i need excavation). Before I talk. I should read a book (Mesopotamia. That's where I wanna go) but there's one thing I do know. There's a lot of ruins, in Mesopotamia.
