Do you wear ballet flats on very cold days when are wearing a heavy coat, scarf, winter hat, etc.? Or are they primary spring/summer footwear for you?

When I was in a country where it was around -40C in winter I wore boots outside and ballet flats in the office.

If it's warmer than 0c in winter I will wear ballet flats with thick tights. However it mustn't be icy.

For me they are not a winter shoe, but for some of my co-workers they are. I wear dress boots all winter.
I wear boots. Sometimes in my office I switch to flats if it isn't too cold. Ballet flats do not play nice with my ugly (but warm) down coat. That would look ridiculous and how would I navigate NYC slush?

2/c and some 3A.
Protein sensitive but can use occasionally
Highly porous. Color over grey.
Best 1st day method: Super Soaker
Stylers: Mix Curls in a Bottle into everything for shine. Terrible pj
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.
Every day is a gift
^^Ditto. I primarily wear warm boots outside and switch to flats in the office. BUT if I had a car and didn't rely on my feet/public transit, I'd probably just wear the flats.

I keep my flats in the office and switch them if my feet inside the boots get too hot.

No ballet flats in the winter, period. They are a spring, summer and early fall shoe for me. I would do a thicker loafer (just for example) with tights or thick dress socks on a milder day but I am and have always been boot girl. Dress to combat and everything in between. I wore my nice but comfortable snow boots to work yesterday, and sat around in my socks here and there. No one can come in without keys so we get comfortable and pull our shoes back on if need be.

I can't keep any shoes on for 12 hours. It's impossible.

When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

Nope, ballet flats are useless for the cold weather. Plus they look a bit weird with a big coat, like top heavy.
I do, so long as there's no snow on the ground
Medium texture, normal porosity, normal elasticity
Outside it's always boots if it's raining or snowing. If it's dry and not blistering cold I will wear oxfords and loafers outside.
I keep a pair of flats at the office, tho I am often barefoot at work unless it's really cold in my office.

^ That is me but I keep socks in my bag so I can be shoeless year round. My boss was asking me why I was running round in socks on Monday. Because I want to. I'm going to be sitting here for half a day. I may as well get comfortable. We all do. Very few people keep their shoes on all day or night.

My feet get cold just thinking about flats on cold winter days.

I also keep large and funny bedroom shoes in my locker. It is common to find me running around the building in fuzzy monster feet on night shifts. They are comfortable, toasty, make bored officers who come to visit laugh and are a perfect hiding spot for pot when training drug dogs. I'm always checking them to make sure nothing was left in there .

I love camo and want to get these. The texture and print are wintery. But they're a ballet flat.
