OMG I have been sick since Thanksgiving and by blood work came back as Mono. Anyone ever had it ?
Your thread title caught my eye as I was just getting ready to click off the site.

Yes, I had it when I was about 16 during the summer, and my neglectful mother let me suffer for about a week, until I was so dehydrated and malnourished that I had to be admitted to the hospital to recover. I couldn't keep anything down and was weak, exhausted, and feverish (temperature unknown - I don't think she even bothered to check.) Whenever I was lucky enough to drift off to sleep, I would dream about swimming in a huge swimming pool of cool water and drinking my fill as I swam. I was so miserable. I lost about 15 lbs and bottomed out at 115 lbs (I thought I was SO fat back then at 5'7" 130 lbs.)

Don't let yourself get dehydrated and malnourished. I hope you've seen or will see your doctor soon.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Back in college. I don't recall much though except being tired for a long time.
No MAS.

I am the new Black.

I had it just this summer. I didn't know I had it until my annual physical and I told my dr I was feel real run down. I spent most of my time sleeping if I wasn't at work.
I had it when I was 11 coupled with strep. I remember about two weeks of extreme tiredness and not being able to swallow anything solid.

I had it my first yr of college. I was sick the whole quarter.

My sister had it for a few months. She had to drop out of school for the semester, I remember. But before the semester was even over she felt fine. So it didn't last that long for her. She was tired a lot but other than that she didn't seem to suffer many ailments. Good luck to you and a speedy recovery!

Condish: GVP CB, V05 Vanilla Mint Tea

From Michael Berg:

Every person has a unique connection to the Creator that can never be extinguished, and every person has a great soul that can manifest important things in our world. To make a person feel less than they are because of something inside themselves, be it faith, race, or sexual orientation, is the greatest sin of all."

Know loads of people who had it in their teens and early twenties.

Some ended up very ill and one ended up in hospital with jaundice. Most were just tired for months.
