Ok, so I know that tall women have it harder when it comes to pants, yadda yadda yadda... But dude, the amount that I'm going to have to hem these dress pants, even with some pretty high heels, is ridiculous!
I'm just annoyed that I didn't even get the choice of picking "short" pants. *grumble grumble*

What about those Hem Gems? I bought some for $2.99 (haven't used them yet, though).

ND - I just googled those... Those are neat! Way better than those As Seen on TV ones. I think I might need a set or two for my jeans... But I don't think they'll work for my dress pants. Boo!
And curlylaura - those systems are seriously the best!

I'm so glad I don't live near a Sephora. I would be sooo broke. I practiced pretty good self control today though.
Ninja I love your dental doggy in your siggy. I am a sucker for English bulldogs.

I just had an argument with one of my friends and I don't even know WTF happened. I don't feel like I pushed her into it, I was just pointing out that she's cranky this morning
Sigh, it's so hard to communicate over the internet cause tones ****s everything up.

I don't understand why schools charge international students up to three times more to do certain courses, is that REALLY necessary? I wanted to do Spanish classes while enrolled in grad school and noticed that it was listed at Ł30. I was thinking, ok, that"s affordable, and then I scroll down and see that international students have to pay Ł150...FOR A 12 WEEK COURSE!!!! Really people? Really?

I have cried more during Army Wives since my husband came home than the entire year that he was deployed.

Why do they have Jennifer Lopez speak for Spanish language ads? She sounds bad enough in English, but I swear the sound of her awful, pathetic Spanish makes me a little stabby.
Speaking of commercials, can they pull those heinous anti-smoking ones off the air? I have to change the channel they're so horrifying and tasteless. And I don't even smoke!

What's the deal? Why do you ask me so many questions about myself? What are you up to?

I'm glad that I look better than I feel.
I can't believe this.
She isn't my friend. What she did is unacceptable. Why don't you hear me? Or do you not hear me like you don't see me?
I hate you. I love you.
Please leave my life.

Thank you. I don't smoke either and I find them tasteless too. I have a couple of friends who smoke and I doubt those ads are going to convince them to quit.

Mysterious package arrives today.
Strict instruction from Mr. Spring not to open till tomorrow.
I protest.
He says those are the rules.
I say it's my birthday there are no rules.
He insists I wait.
No return address on said package and it's not the type I can shake. (In other words, no clues for me to sleuth!)
Will I make it until tomorrow with said package staring at me, taunting me? Is it fair I have to wait?
These are the questions that plague me today.

Happy early birthday, springy!
I cannot comment on aforementioned package because I don't want to influence you.
--------------------------------
You know, you've let me down plenty over the years. And you've seen me be let down by various adults during childhood as well. I applaud how you're trying to give the kids practically perfect lives, but I don't want to be blamed for not living up to your standard.
I feel like isht about it, okay? Like I'm failing them, even though it has nothing to do with not loving them enough. But you make such stringent rules and have such rigid scheduling that I can't always adapt, even when I previously thought I could.
I'm very sorry. I hope you don't send me a rotten email about it, because if you do, we're going to have a tiff.

I've had 3 loopholes offered up by various people.
1. Pretend I'm in India.
2. A friend of ours offered to come over this evening and open it for me because Jason didn't say he (friend) couldn't open it.
3. A friend of the family stated as my elder she is telling me to open and I have to listen to my elders.
I think all 3 of these are perfectly reasonable, no?
