I don't understand why schools charge international students up to three times more to do certain courses, is that REALLY necessary? I wanted to do Spanish classes while enrolled in grad school and noticed that it was listed at £30. I was thinking, ok, that"s affordable, and then I scroll down and see that international students have to pay £150...FOR A 12 WEEK COURSE!!!! Really people? Really?

Mysterious package arrives today.

Strict instruction from Mr. Spring not to open till tomorrow.

I protest.

He says those are the rules.

I say it's my birthday there are no rules.

He insists I wait.

No return address on said package and it's not the type I can shake. (In other words, no clues for me to sleuth!)

Will I make it until tomorrow with said package staring at me, taunting me? Is it fair I have to wait?

These are the questions that plague me today.

You know, you've let me down plenty over the years. And you've seen me be let down by various adults during childhood as well. I applaud how you're trying to give the kids practically perfect lives, but I don't want to be blamed for not living up to your standard.

I feel like isht about it, okay? Like I'm failing them, even though it has nothing to do with not loving them enough. But you make such stringent rules and have such rigid scheduling that I can't always adapt, even when I previously thought I could.

I'm very sorry. I hope you don't send me a rotten email about it, because if you do, we're going to have a tiff.

2. A friend of ours offered to come over this evening and open it for me because Jason didn't say he (friend) couldn't open it.
