sinistral, that is heart breaking. I'm so sorry this happened.

The amount of time from slipping on the peel and landing on the pavement is exactly one bananosecond.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

I just finished reading R. Crumb's Book of Genesis. It mostly seemed to be about having sons and herding sheep.

I thought that if anyone could bring the Bible to life for me, it would be him, but alas, it just didn't happen.
Lately Calvin gets the hiccups every time I blow dry him after a bath. So weird.

Ninja, would you like to borrow him and maybe you can figure out how to fix his skin problem? It's so cute, he's a frizzy brown lump laying on the floor and with each hiccup he reminds me of one of those popping bugs, except he stays in one place.

LA, as much bad attitude as he has when around other dogs he's an absolute dream when I need to do something to him. I don't think he actually enjoys the blow drying, but he comes right to me and at least tolerates it. I had to remove some stitches once and he was so docile about it.

I'm just dying at the vision of a dog trying to eat the blow dryer, love it!

If I told you the things Sadie-Kate has eaten in the two years I've had her, you'd weep.

Or maybe that would be me.
It's so gross how the Hudson river is a murky green color

You know what's even better than buying a cute pair of shoes?

Buying a cute pair of shoes that you already have in a different color, and they're on sale for $15 less than you spent on the last pair!

I can't wait to wear them.

If people can't handle baby strollers or those half-carts they have at Kohl's, why don't they wear their babies or carry their items? Don't act like I've commited a federal crime for bumping into your baby when it's parked in the middle of the main walkway of the store will you stand there browsing.

If I get excited one more time over a potential beautiful rental and read "NO PETS" and feel my heart drop into my stomach AGAIN.... I'm just gonna cry.

That kitchen was so gorgeous.

It sure stinks to see my choices drop from 20 places to about 2 when I check that box. I only thought we had a hard time finding a place in CT.

Perseverance!! I can haz it?

If you have the wherewithal, you might try inquiring if a place will take a pet with a deposit. Some "no pets" places/landlords will do that if you strike them as a good prospect.

I'm 100% happy to pay a pet deposit, but I saw one earlier that was $2000 HAHA

I'm not supposed to be awake this early!
I woke up from dreaming that I was unquenchably thirsty. No matter how much water I drank, it did nothing. Water sure did taste amazing, but as soon as I stopped drinking it, I needed more. So of course when I woke up I had to have some, and after a tall glass I felt that I had too much.
