I'm not grossed out, Kenzie!
I am sorry you're hurt, though.
I love medical details.

TRBL likes cucumbers. (Tzazkiki / raita, YUM!)
TRBL HATES pickles.

I find it amusing that I left the house this morning with long hair and returned with short hair, having had about 3-4 inches cut off and as yet, neither parent has noticed any difference.

Also I had to run for the bus today and my boob totally popped out (of my bra- not my top - that would have been really embarrassing!)
I knew there had to be a legitimate excuse for never running anywhere.....

Oh good. I was afraid I'd have to report your law-breaking.
Spring, that sounds like bread and butter pickles (as opposed to dill pickles):
Bread and Butter Pickles Recipe | Simply Recipes
Cloves (often studded into an onion), mustard seeds, bay, and other spices are usually added to pickling liquids.

There were 6 of us. It wasn't what I'm used to in the US where they wheel the cart around. You ordered by price/how many different kinds you wanted. We got the mostest! nom nom nom.
How did your macaroons turn out?

They were similar to bread and butter, but the texture of them was different and they were such a dark color. I have no idea what she put in there, I'll have to ask my mom if she ever helped her can any.
I love pickled okra, yum! I haven't had any in ages so I'll have to get some after my food shopping restriction is lifted.

Could it be that she used table salt which turns them a dark, muddy color?
Pickled watermelon is awesome. Forget the pickled rinds, just the pickled watermelon flesh!
Kasden, I made them yesterday and there are only three left after eating some yesterday, my mom taking a bunch of them to work today, and me eating some more today.

My quality bra let me down today (see above post).
That was fun - trying to subtly sort that out on the bus!

I have no clue, I never paid the least bit of attention when she was canning the loads of food from their garden. I wish I had! I never had any interest in cooking until I got much older and she was already gone. They were almost a dark black/green color and so sugary sweet with a hint of spice (not hot spice, but savory spice). I'll have to investigate next time I talk to mom.

That happened to me once, in high school. At a track meet. It was horrible. I wanted to crawl into a hole.
