The amount of time from slipping on the peel and landing on the pavement is exactly one bananosecond.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
TRBL likes vinegar. (Salt & vinegar potato chips, YUM!)
TRBL likes cucumbers. (Tzazkiki / raita, YUM!)
TRBL HATES pickles.

TRBL is weird and she knows it.

But you're okay with other pickled vegetables, right? Right?
I find it amusing that I left the house this morning with long hair and returned with short hair, having had about 3-4 inches cut off and as yet, neither parent has noticed any difference.

Come sit over here by me, TRBL.
Also I had to run for the bus today and my boob totally popped out (of my bra- not my top - that would have been really embarrassing!)

I knew there had to be a legitimate excuse for never running anywhere.....
Ahem . . . I do believe it is the law that one cannot mention getting a haircut and then not post pics . . .
I shall indeed post piccies - once my hair has dried
Curly law! You absolutely must post pictures!!

Oh good. I was afraid I'd have to report your law-breaking.

Spring, that sounds like bread and butter pickles (as opposed to dill pickles):

Cloves (often studded into an onion), mustard seeds, bay, and other spices are usually added to pickling liquids.
Kasden, so jealous! How many people did you have?

I love pickled okra, yum! I haven't had any in ages so I'll have to get some after my food shopping restriction is lifted.

Oh, quality bras. Why do you have to be so damn expensive???
Could it be that she used table salt which turns them a dark, muddy color?

Pickled watermelon is awesome. Forget the pickled rinds, just the pickled watermelon flesh!

Kasden, I made them yesterday and there are only three left after eating some yesterday, my mom taking a bunch of them to work today, and me eating some more today.

That was fun - trying to subtly sort that out on the bus!

My Nanny used to put up these syrupy sweet spiced pickles with cucumbers from their garden and I've never been able to find anything like them. They were in this thick liquid and the pickle itself had a different texture than any other pickle I've had. I always loved putting them in deviled eggs, egg salad, tuna salad or just eating plain. I know there were some type of whole spices in the thick brine, cloves maybe. I wish I'd had the sense to ask about these things before she died.

I miss her pickles.
I miss her cheese straws.
I miss her dressing.
I miss her house.
I miss her.

Grrrrrrrr.. do you not realize how long this is going to take?? I'm the one that is going to start getting the grief over this. Please please hurry up. And I really can't believe you decided to go to the gym right now.

Not a happy camper!
