I didn't know that was on today's WoF though. I only watched for a couple of minutes in between washing dishes. I caught some Jeopardy and has the pool for Jeopardy dried up or something? They all were pretty weak.

The BF and I are visiting my folks, and my parents and I love the WoF/Jeopardy hour. We thought the Jeopardy contestants were weak tonight. The questions were harder tonight for me too though.

Breaking News!!
NANNY PICKLE UPDATE!
Mom says they're called iceberg pickles and she has Nanny's recipe, but has to dig it up and she'll send me a copy (who knows how long that will take).
Involved pickling lime, soaking them and several rinses from the few recipes I found online.
I did find out something, apparently my aunt and uncle can them! I've requested mom to confiscate me a jar and mail it to me after we get settled in CA. I can't wait!! Oh how I miss those pickles on a sandwich.

I don't know what's more annoying: some fluffy Spanish language celeb gossip show where one of the hosts points out that you are not to eat meat today, or my mother making a BFD to my dad as he was pulling out leftovers not to dare eat the meat. I informed her I ate it anyway. Guess I'm okay with eternal damnation.

They were about the size of a single scoop, so yeah, kinda tiny. A double scoop (small) is for ¥400.
I didn't end up getting one. I just photographed them for the "only in Japan..." files  They are ridiculously cute though.
