Hi, TRBL!
Starbucks $: not much.
Do they know at work how deeply unhappy you are? Do you think they'd do something if they did?

Boo, the weather is murdering my cocoa tuiles.

Humidity, you are making them sad and soggy.

Starbucks pays minimum wage. Well, at least around here. I did just apply there, but my needs are probably much less than yours.
Saria, it isn't nice to tease the curlies.

I'm not buying overfilled prune pirogies again. The first bite was nice; the tenth, cloying.

It's uncomfortably sticky today. It's not hot enough for AC, yet I want to turn it on to cut down the stickiness.

Today was measure in day. I started the year off with a 38.5 inch waist, and it's 31 inches right now. I didn't think it would ever get that little. Thank you low carbing. It sucks to be in a diabetic filled gene pool, but I have to live with it.

RCC, I wanted to send you some nail polishes that I thought would look great on you (I saw your pretty nails in the nailpolish thread once) but the damn shipment didn't come in on time.
I need to start my secret curly shopping sooner this year.

I think the weather's great. It's just not conducive to cookie-baking.

RCC! Go you!!!
I love your fingernails too. You have lovely hands, and great taste in colors - you know I bought some grey polish, just because you posted a pic of yours?

I've talked to my boss several times.. about the only option is to go to HR. I just feel like everything is so petty, it's just that it is 10 million petty things piling up. And so much of it is my word against hers.
Example - I'm fairly sure she purposefully tried to sabotage me on something, but I have no proof. I had to send out a bunch of UPS packages, but she is the one that makes the lables. She left one out, then asked me the next morning if I had sent it - "we need to make sure that we send out at the same time that we do the others that go out UPS" Well yeah, I knew it needed to go so I made the package myself and made sure it went with the others. Could it have been an honest mistake? Sure. Do I think it was? Absolutely not.

TRBL, I understand. It's a bunch of stupid little things so it gets to a point where saying anything just leads to loss of credibility, like you're imagining or looking for things, but you're not!
Hang in there. {{{TRBL}}}

It's horrid to have to spend your energy on something like this, but the only solution may be to entrap her, i.e., set her up so you have proof of her b.s. Most people leave jobs because of this kind of thing; certainly I have. The other thing you might consider is to enlist the help of others she bullies, so that you gain credibility by numbers; the odds of two people lying is lower, right?
I would scheme directly for you if I could. I really, really, really hate situations like this, but I'm tired of seeing the nice ones (like you, or me!) get pushed out.
If you want more Machiavellian advice, PM me. And to those who may be surprised to learn what a louse I can be, all I can say is that I used to work in law, and it's the lay of the land around law firms to connive. Which is why I left.

Not sure about the smell of this sourdough starter. It's certainly.......pungent.

There's good sour and bad sour, ninja, so watch out. It should be pleasantly sour-smelling.

Is Wolfie an elf today? He seems very elflike, or maybe Amish. It's the beard I think.

I don't know how much help I can enlist. Others have expressed their condolances, but are they themselves doing all they can not to get on her "Sh.it List." Everyone else that has had it as bad as I have has quit. Others have been on the list, but not as bad or for as long.. gawd it's been 2.5 years!

Well, I read the link, Saria, and I'm not sure where mine is falling on the continuum of good v. bad. It smells.....strong. Also, I noticed a puddle of water on top of the goop when I fed it today.
I wound up pouring out about 3/5 of it, then adding my usual cup a' flour and cup a' water (cold). It was already bubbling pretty well by the time I closed the container after stirring.
Does this sound..........promising, or dreadful?

Dear Mr. Nurse Practitioner,
One good thing about moving is that I'm going to be able to seek out a new medical professional. When you have to look and see if they make a dosage between 125 and 150 in my current medicine for you to prescribe me, it doesn't make me feel to confident in your skills. Maybe I'm missing something, but *I* knew they make a 137mcg.
Glad to be hitting the road,
Spring

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

I have a "one that got away." We live far enough away from each other. He called me last night and we talked for almost two hours. He didn't mention his girlfriend once, but has one as far as I know.
I'm visiting one of my close friends next week and they live in the same city.
I want to see him, but I know it's a bad idea.
My best guy friend told me "don't."
I feel so weird. I can't imagine ever getting over him.
