I'll be helping with voting all day tomorrow, so here's a new avvie a little bit early.

Please cross your fingers for me that I don't lose my temper with the mean old lady who made fun of my dog, accidentally tore my ballot, and calls me "The Democrat," with whom I'll be working.

Are they still having the hair-pulling exercise in futility known as Wheel of Fortune? I watched yet another episode where the thing was solved and still the need to buy the freaking U. It's like the contestant had a completion bent and couldn't keep from buying that last useless vowel.

Oh, Wheel of unFortunate came on, but no Jeopardy because of some special Osama news report. Don't we all know he's (we think) dead?

Good luck Ninja. Ignore the old ladies. They are everywhere! And thanks for working the polls.

I've come to the conclusion that I don't really like tomatoes but I eat them any way because I feel I'm supposed to. I'm such a strange one sometimes.

Try tomatoes from the greenmarket right around August. Get a mix and season well with salt, maybe some basil, olive oil, and a splash of good vinegar. Then get back to me on that one.

Gag! I got more than I bargained for with that last post... My dog went out in the yard not long after, and rolled in dead worms. He seriously stinks now! lol

Indeed. People who don't like tomatoes have probably only had crappy supermarket tomatoes.

I will give it a try, I don't think tomatoes are awful, I just don't think they're the bees knees. I'm hoping I'll meet a tomato I'll love. Today I had my tomatoes with lettuce, olive oil, salt, vinegar, and lemon (the lemon smelled so good I couldn't resist).
