So I bought a $100 bra a few months ago, thinking the girls needed an expensive home. Then I bought a $14 Just My Size bra from WalMart just as a sleeping bra if ever needed. Guess which one fits better? The JMS bra fits way better, is more comfortable and gives me a better shape. Now I know.

Anyhoo, there's a scene during which the printed name "Rambo" appears, and I got to thinking, "That's probably the anglicized version of the name, which was no doubt 'Rambeaux' or 'Rambeau' when they came to this country.'" Then I thought, "FFS, this is an action movie written by Sylvester Stallone, you idiot," and I went outside with the dogs and got a few more mosquito bites.
Oh, Ninj, you're too well educated for your own good.

Rambeaux. Love it!

Wah, 9:30 AM to 12:30 AM. The stress of wondering if all that mise en place would hold out through two services. 1000+ covers later and not a single break: oh the pain. Back in at 9 to try to build everything back up from basically nothing left.

oh my goodness, Ninja, I meant to delete some spam a few posts above yours and accidentally banned you. I'm so sorry. I will figure out how to reverse it. I'm sorry.

Hah!

Tell me the truth, Medussa: it was for wondering about the origins of the name "Rambo," wasn't it?

Bwahaha, the notorious ninja dog was banned!

Official number of covers last night: 1250. Oy. Apparently it was quite smooth though.

Oh, ninja, never change. I woke up the baby laughing at your Rambo ramblings.

Sing it with me, everyone:

"Oh.........

The Camptown ladies sing this song,
Doo-da, Doo-da
The Camptown racetrack's five miles long
Oh, de doo-da day

Goin' to run all night
Goin' to run all day
I bet my money on a bob-tailed nag
Somebody bet on the gray!"

(I always thought it was "Bay" but I was wrong.)

UGG boots and a thick scarf with your miniskirt? It's 90 degrees you silly looking girl. Pick a season and wear it.

It is bay. It's one of those minstrel songs that seems to have become generic as opposed to it's racially derogatory origins.

I know (re: minstrel), but since I never heard it that way (and I'm not that young for this site), I hoped it wouldn't offend.

It was just going through my head.

Just blew up at the owner of the rental house next door when I discovered his tenant not only cut his own trees needlessly (increasing my view of his hideous blue tugboat of a "home"), but also cut harmless branches off my trees, without permission, warning, or polite request.

This is episode # 3, and I'm ticked.

So I'm in the kitchen trying to take advantage of the wi-fi signal because the one in the room sucks. My earphones got left behind, but volume is pretty low on my laptop and there's enough distance that it wouldn't disturb her TV watching in the living room, but of course she turned the volume obnoxiously up, to the point that I can barely hear what I'm watching.

Honestly Saria, I would start being an a$$hole to that woman and see how much she likes it. I have no qualms being mean to people who deserve it.
