OK. So I have a second.
Saria, I loved the pictures of the little guy! What cute little cheekies!!! Yum! I love babies.
I need to pass my test. I need to do well and get on with my life. Being asked: "Are you interested in working 3 days a week?" When I know it includes a pay cut of a day is NOT what I want to hear. So I guess the fire has been lit under my bee-hind to get moving towards finally making this career change happen.
I can do it. I know I can!

Yes, I am filled with shock and awe, and yes, you are a total bada$$, but no, I really don't want your Harley. I prefer my cute little scooter... because I can ride it wearing a skirt.
I know that a Mercedes is higher class than a Honda. I know it was an even trade. I know you trying to be nice. But I am still more hurt than I have ever been in my entire life than when you, my mother in law, who has always made me feel so genuinely welcome, took my beloved Honda and traded it for a Mercedes my husband wanted without my permission, without my knowledge, and without me even seeing the darn thing. I am sorry, but he married me, and we (he and I) make the decisions about these things. I would never have let you take him out to "kick tires" if I thought you would actually buy something! It made me feel so unloved and abandoned and cut out of the family that I still want to cry every time I see the thing.

Two weeks ago my "aunt" was over for Memorial Day and demanded to see my prom pictures. Reluctantly, I showed her the pictures of me with my prom date...my best friend Panda, who just so happens to be white. Her reaction was the exact reason that I didn't want to show her the pictures: she began yelling about how she was "shocked" that my mother failed to mention that apparently important detail to her and couldn't believe that my father "allowed him in the house". She then continued to run her mouth to my parents and I for the next ten minutes until my dad got fed up and told her to shut up.
I couldn't believe it. Scratch that. Yes I could. I just expected her to have a little bit of decency and self-control. Silly me to expect such a thing.
I was so embarrassed and angry...it took every bit of me not to do something I'd surely (not) regret.

I LOVE that show. On Sunday nights, my family sits around the TV for about 3 hours straight watching episodes of both that and regular House Hunters! It's so terrible, but awesome at the same time!
