Say It. I Dare You.

I got to sleep in a little this morning and had the following conversation with right before getting out of bed.

Me: Come in and talk to me for a minute.

Him: I am too busy for that. I have a three year old and a puppy out there. Lilly keeps pouring water on her Dora blanket, pouring water on the floor, pouring water on the dog, and the dog is into everything. I am too busy.

Me: Yeah, I wouldn't know about that at all. I have always told you that you have the much easier job.

I wish I could just cook my own meals sometimes. Forcing down dinners I don't want and don't like is getting old.

I freaking hate barbecued food.

Ever since making a serious attempt at CG, my hair has......changed color (!) And I KNOW it's not from it being summertime, as I have hardly been out of the house.

So much for "oh your hair is just brown"......

My true red tones are shining through, bright and unmistakably clear. It's a very dark auburn.....almost burgundy. I can't believe it!

^^^ Yes! I'm amazed!

I swear, the aloe vera gel has been the best thing to happen to me. I think I need to tweak it as it doesn't hold back the frizz too well on high-humidity days, but it makes my hair really shiny......and doesn't darken my hair color.

ETA: I mean, it's brightened to the point where I'm now re-thinking my decision to henna (!) Instead of doing a classic henna application....I'm now thinking about just doing a henna gloss.

We went to the drive-in last night. I think I can safely say my kids are more well behaved and considerate than most adults now.

The whole place was jam packed. people with biggest vehicles who HAD to park in the front. With people who thought their lawn chairs were too good to be on the ground. People who had to sit or stand on top of their cars. People stopping to chat right infront of others. People leaving their car doors open. All these things effectively blocked the screen for everyone behind them.

People kept turning their lights on. I think I only seen 1 person who knew what a parking light was, and half of the others used their brights.

We were hoping for a nice relaxing evening with the whole family, we ended up miserable and only seeing the top half of our movies.
Wearing a Nazi uniform is really not cool. Wearing a Nazi uniform as a Black man is not ironic. You're not thumbing your nose at anyone or making a statement. You look crazy, especially when you're 40yo and walking beside your 19yo "fiancee."
No MAS.

I am the new Black.

Sweetpea, I love you a lot, but that was the last 'tween movie I am ever going to see in a theater. I spent the whole time nauseated and appalled.

Next time we have a play date, we're doing something active.

I also thought you looked very pretty.
20 mins until this stupid call is over. Thanks for keeping me company ladies.

I'm contemplaying starting activity in the exercise accountability thread, but I'm scurred... LOL! i cheat, y'all coming to get me!

Im so out of touch. I've never watched or been remotely interested Glastonbury.

My father was like, I'm surprised you're not watching it.

I didn't even know it was on lol.

Why do people want to camp out in a wet field? Surrounding by hundreds of drunk people. With no showers?

Im such an old woman.

You're not. ^

It's gross.

I'd go for a day and then toddle home to sleep in my own bed.

More proof that I am an old woman:

I looked it up online, and out of the seemingly hundreds of bands playing at Glastonbury, I recognize the grand total of ONE: U2 (well and Beyonce).

Of course, you'd have to like the bands involved.
@ Kat: I was so jels a couple of years ago when Snow Patrol played. I love them so much.

On a UK related note, I have the biggest crush on Ralph Fiennes. That man is fiiiiiiinnnneeee.

I will now go to class.
I ain't thirsty. There's plenty of fish in the sea, but I don't want all of them, can I have some standards? Or do we just have to settle, for someone's who meh and will do.

I watched Northanger Abbey yesterday, that was good!
