Ninja, that's the guy my friend showed me the clip of! I'm sorry, but he was just uber creepeh to me. The rouge on his nose, the outfit where the button looks like it's going to pop off... I couldn't watch the whole clip.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

We had Gillardi (sp) and The Ghoul around here. And also only had 3-4 channels, black and white tv, and had to walk to the tv to change the channel! Then we'd go outside and kill some wooly mammoths for dinner.
I like canned peas. Right out of the can. Love them actually.
WTF happened to Juicy Fruit gum?? It is no longer juicy. Or fruity. **stomps off in a huff**

I know it seems weird now, but my mother in law says that in high school her nickname was juicy fruit, because she chewed it all the time.
Today that nickname would... uh... not be as... appropriate?

I could really go for some sherbet right now. More people need to make sherbet. It's just the thing for when you're craving ice cream but want the more refreshing nature of sorbet as well. I wouldn't mind some of that Bing cherry and buttermilk sherbet I made when I was doing pastry.
I just saw some stunning eggplant at a little vegetable stand. I have now been reminded that I am missing wonderful eggplant season.

My boss is taking our department to lunch. I'd like to have a drink, but I don't think it would be a good idea, who knows what I might say & who I might say it to.

I did lunges for about 10 minutes to get into my jeans, and I gained probably close to 13 pounds this summer, and yet I still have to wear a fricking belt with all of my pants. So unfair.
And of course the only place I'm losing inches is around my waist. It would be far too easy if I actually started losing weight in my thighs.
Not to mention the fact that I'm a poor college student, and can't afford to buy new pants.
Dresses are my friend, as of late.

We had Ghoulardi earlier, but I liked Superhost. He made fun of himself a lot, and also did the news by rubbing off the nose paint and putting a jacket over his cape.
I think these Trim Step sneakers are probably B.S. but I like weird shoes.

We had Creature Feature too! Sometimes it was double Creature Feature!!
SO says when he is in Taiwan it reminds him of the Godzilla movies-he is just waiting for him to step out from behind a building.
But after all that I do not know what/who Mothra is.

I've never really watched Godzilla and I know what Mothra is. But then, I'm a nerd.

Did Speckla quit the boards? Under her name it says Guest and number of posts n/a. Did I miss something?

I hope not, but she's on the sensitive side, and RCW and Amneris might have struck her too harshly yesterday. Or it might have been me, though I was trying to show support.
Regardless, I hate to lose her. Even if she is often gassy (in body).

Saria, Godzilla is the ultimate in nerdiness! What are you thinking? Not that I knew who mothra is/was, either.
Just eat your sorbet/sherbet and remember to update us on your date tonight.

Has there been drama?
I only worked with the trainee pharmacist for 60 minutes today and it was enough. It's hard to dispense prescriptions and keep one eye and ear on him to catch him when he does something incredibly stupid. And I have to babysit him again tomorrow. I'm not paid enough for this.

Huh? What did RCW and I say to Speckla yesterday? I don't recall tangling with her at all - I have no issues with her.

I don't remember any NYC channels offering any Creature Feature or Chiller Theater growing up. I do remember that in the late 70's till the mid 80's, one channel would show karate movies on Saturday afternoons. I don't remember what they called those hours though. In fact, all the kids would stay inside to watch those cheesy movies and wouldn't come out until they were over.

Work has massage therapists come in for us (we do still pay!) and I just had a 30 minute massage. She suggested I go for a full massage, at least an hour and a half, and said they could easily spend an hour only working on my glutes. I resisted asking if she was saying I have a big butt in case she thought I was serious!
This was my second massage, and I'm starting to realize how much I need them and how much that need was affecting my riding! As usual, my spots needing the most work matched up with the same spots my horse has problems.
Sent from my "smart"phone. Please excuse typos!
