Heh, that and the skinny jeans are coming up.
Need to buy that bag I want, too. The strap on one of my favorites is completely frayed and I fear it's going to fall apart soon.

I wish one of y'all would come and go shopping with me. I am in desperate need of some new clothes and there is a dinner coming up with DH's work that I have nothing to wear to and no idea where to start. I like the idea of going, but once I get to the stores I just want to go home.

I lucked out this cycle that my heavy day is a day off. The worst is having a heavy day on my demo day, where I have to ask for a bathroom relief person all the time.

I'm so disappointed. I was hoping to spam you guys this week with pictures of everything. But circumstances have conspired to prevent my camera purchase once again. DH says he's going to work extra hours specifically for this, but I'm not holding my breath. His intentions are good, but we've had such dumb luck with this, I'm feeling pretty hopeless about it at this point. It seems like something always comes up.

Yay! Sexyboy feels the same about me as I do about him!

So, what do I do now?

Also, I've just seen an ad on TV that says 'what do you do with curly, frizzy hair? Make it go away'. The model looked much better with her curls and her straightened hair looked like it would feel coated and plasticky. Blegh!

Shopping for new car insurance is stressful.

But.....

....I think I might be able to get the cheapest (pricewise) insurance and get my mom $50.

Awesomeness!

Thank goodness for my DUI falling off my record earlier this year!

What is with my clingy kids today? I'm trying to get some editing finished so my paycheck is mailed before the weekend, and they keep jumping in my lap. How can I type with two kids squishing me? It's simulataneously sweet and frustrating.

My daughter and her boyfriend were fired today. They both work at the same company. It was for attendance. I had noticed there seemed to be a lot of days home sick but she is almost 25 years old so I kept my thoughts to myself. Now I wish I had said something.

^^You were right to not interfere, though. She's a grown up and sometimes that means dealing with the stupid stuff we do to ourselves.

This. She needs to be held accountable and when you don't show up to work, you get fired. Sucks, but that's reality. Hopefully she will take her next job more seriously.

I hope so. I feel bad but I kind of saw the writing on the wall.

You are both right. And it's funny-she is a good worker. She has never asked me for $ since she made a decision not to go back to college after her first year. And she has always had a job. I am not sure what happened recently.

As a parent it still makes me feel bad.

Well, all you can do is hope this is a lesson learned for her. If she's smart like her mom, it won't happen again!
