Say It. I Dare You.

If I saw a baker advertising specifically that this cupcake's frosting is homemade, I would wonder if other parts of the cupcake weren't or if her other cupcakes use store bought frosting or something. Like, okay, so these specific components were 100% homemade...does that mean the rest is a cake mix? Pumpkin puree I can see bragging about having made yourself, since you do have to gut a pumpkin for it, but the other stuff just makes me think of how McDonald's chicken nuggets "are made WITH all white meat chicken."
OMG, LOOK!!

...It's a siggie.
SO always teases waiters who say "homemade." He presses the issue: "they weren't *really* homemade, were they?! I mean, you made them here at the restaurant, right?!" in mock horror.
Dear period,

Have you gone on holiday?

Thanks,
Fat does not make you fat. It's actually pretty important.
Exactly, wild~sasparilla. I don't mind if you point out something is homemade, but if it's for something where it's not always expected. Like homemade puff pastry, homemade pasta, homemade marshmallows, etc. But if you're selling cakes, what else would the frosting be but homemade? Why would I be interested in buying cakes from you if you aren't bothering to make the actual components? And especially whipped cream?! I love whipped cream as a frosting, but it's not exactly difficult to make. Take cream, flavoring of choice, sweetener, whip. Perhaps stabilize with gelatin.
It's not exactly French or Italian buttercream or Chiboust (all of which I would assume to be homemade if you're trying to sell me cakes).
I hate the phone company. We have an unlimited internet plan. We just got an email saying that we use too much bb and they're going to start charging us $10 for every 50 mb we go over. If we use too much, then they need to do some serious freaking upgrades.
I hate our neighbors... They hired landscapers to take care of the leaves in their yard today. That's fine. I appreciate that they clean up the leaves in their yard!

What I don't appreciate is that the landscapers showed up this morning at about... 7:00. With incredibly loud leaf blowers.

Let's just say that I woke up as my angry alter-ego this morning!

They also like to park their fleet of business vehicles all up and down our street, including in front of our house. And up until last year, they drained their pool into our yard (we live on a hill, like most people in the region!) for about 12 years straight.

Last time we talked to them, they offered us an "elite" package with faster speed. We said sure, then they said oops sorry someone in your apartment complex already has it.
I have come to the realisation that I have always been an idealist and it has screwed me over. I liked to think that I was a realist, but I wasn't, not at all. I wish I could go on living as an idealist, cause it's kinda fun, you know, looking forward to the best of everything and in everyone, but life just isn't like that and I am honestly tired of setting myself up and then getting hurt. There is so much more I have to learn, I just hope I make it through with my sanity (since I no longer have my unbridled romanticism) to keep me going.
I ain't thirsty. There's plenty of fish in the sea, but I don't want all of them, can I have some standards? Or do we just have to settle, for someone's who meh and will do.

Cheez-Its, someday you will be the death of me.

I wish there were "Cheez It" collection boxes, where I could donate my uneaten Cheez-Its
before I finish the box and get sick.

Or is that called the compost heap?

I could probably work six day weeks for the rest of the year since the new store will need help. I probably should too, since the money will be nice. It just sounds less lazy than I like to be.

Time to find a new internet provider. They no longer provide unlimited internet. We're limited to 150 gigs. That's only 20 SD movies, or 10 HD movies a month. F that.

Of course if we upgrade our plan, and watch their streaming services that won't count against us. But they want $100 deposit, and automatic payments. Last time we did automatic payments they kept kept screwing it up which ****ed everything else up. Never again.
My cousin D is 25 yo and works as a social worker in a charter school. This school is made up of mostly Black and Latin@ students and staff. D is pregnant. Every single one of her white coworkers, upon learning of her pregnancy, has asked if she is still with the father.

Thankfully they will grow out and the dog doesn't care
