I have an interview on Monday!
It's for the company that I worked for before I left for Japan. My mother is going to KILL me! She told me to apply since I got back, and I ignored her, and she harassed me up to Sunday afternoon when I got tired of the nagging and sent off an application. Lo and behold, they call me for an interview two days later. I hope they aren't just calling me to be all up in my business.

So they are coming out to replace my windshield for the third time!
It had a crack that couldn't be repair  so had to replace in early summer. Then I had them come back in August because the windshield is so warped it was giving me migraines.
So they replace it with one that was worse!  I let it go to see if I could live with it, as they say it's hard to get one that's clear (without the watermark streaking).
I called today to get it changed out again. I can't take it anymore! This car should last me another 10 years and I don't want to have paid for a crappy windshield. The guy called it the funhouse effect. That's what it looks like. So they are coming out tomorrow to replace it...again....
Let's hope that the 3rd time is the charm! **crosses fingers**

Two weeks from right now I will be on vacation!!!! Gosh I need this! So does B. The sad part is we get back on Sunday and B has surgery that Tuesday. I am sure this is worse in a way because he knows about it...the last time it was a 'surprise'.

$60 for a mediocre connection. 150gb sounds like a lot, until you start watching streaming movies. I've also heard on other sites that say I'm limited to only 3 hours a day or we'll go over the cap. This is a 4 person household and we only have streaming.

Ugh.
Five o'clock and it's already almost dark.
I have to attend a local council meeting tonight in order to follow through on my complaint about my neighbors' trashy yard (trashy as in garbage and junk, not trashy as in too much lipstick). How to stay awake?
These 14 hours + election days really take it out of me. However, it was enjoyable to speculate on whether some of the female voters were actually semi-rural drag queens.

Already?! I hope B can forget about it and enjoy his vacation. That's what I did, put in on the back burner of my mind and let it simmer, tried not to think about it too much.

I think he is looking forward to vacation but I also think he is feeling a bit guilty. We had the vacation planned since Feb and it just ended up that the surgery is being scheduled right after. And that is not a bad thing-we will not have to pay the deductible if done this year...so there is some benefit to having it done this year.

So I decided to wear a dress and heels today since it's so nice out and it's my bday. Holy crap how do you women do it? It's been all of 2 min and my feet hurt, and I can barely walk in them.  I was never destined to be a girly girl.

I swear I'm always MIA around here since I quit my job....I try to catch up, and it's daunting.
This retail schedule is for the birds (the angry ones)
and I hate that it's dark at 5:30.

Oh yeah, Brussels sprouts are now in season and at their best!
I didn't get to make pizza with Matthew, but tomorrow I'm planning on doing just that, and I want some Brussels sprouts and bacon pizza (probably with an egg on top as well). Who knows, I might get him to try it!  Of course, we're doing plain cheese and tomato sauce as well just to be safe! I also want to try a sweet potato, shallot, and Gorgonzola one.
