Curly Sue, I hate brussels sprouts too although I could be persuaded to try a new recipe. The main thing is that they always seem so bitter. Maybe Saria could explain why and how to cook them so that the bitterness is less obvious or even tasty. Good luck with that!
It's not the most recent guy I dated. It's someone I dated several years ago who I still speak to every once in a while. Though I may need to re-evaluate that and kick him to the curb for good.

If it's anything like Cambodia, they're like kitchen sprayers attached to the toilets... Or squatty potties.

its basically a handheld bidet. did you use it SCG?
I didn't! I was way too scared... Everything in that bathroom would've been soaking wet, if I had. Including myself.

Check out the waves and curls on this boy. I knew about the waves but not the curls. In 8 years it's never been this long.

Seriously. Guys have it so easy. He got out of the shower, head-banged in the living room to get the water out, and it air-dried like that.

It looks like I'm goning to have to start getting him to DT with me though.

I really hope he keeps growing it out. This was the first summer I refused his begging for a buzz cut. With the cooler weather I have a fighting chance he'll let it keep growing.

I think the Kardashian Kollection (their new line for "regular" people that's sold in the store I work) is awful. Overpriced and cheap materials.

I am dreading having to work Thanksgiving and Black Friday. It just spells chaos and hell for me.

Omg. People at work need to tone down the amount of fragrance they wear. Or get their sense of smell fixed. Pee-you!

Last night I went to sleep early, an hour later I wake up in excruciating pain. My left calf had a cramp that was strong as hell. My bf told me to move my leg because he thought it was a regular cramp, that made it worse, he touched it and that made it worse. It hurt so bad I was on the verge of tears, it lasted nearly 5 min. I wanted to rip that portion of my leg off because it hurt so bad. He had to soak a towel in hot water and wrap it around my leg because I couldn't get up to go to the shower. The hot towel helped, I was so relieved when it was over. My calf still hurts today, especially when I walk up the stairs. I wonder what in all holy hell was that pain? I never want to experience that again, ever.

Sounds like a Charlie horse to me. Either that or it's a symptom of adult-onset Bieber fever. That isht is contagious.

Lmao! No beiber fever here, I figured it was a charley horse BUT it felt 10x more intense than the ones I've had before. I never had one so strong that I was nearly in tears.

Ya, I've gotten those since high school. I've woken up screaming before the pain is so bad.

I usually call them 'muscle spasms' bc 'Charlie horse' doesn't seem to do it justice.

I can usually feel them coming on now, in my sleep I'll start to feel the muscle tighten up and I'll try to relax it and move my leg in the opposite direction to reverse it.

There are a lot of remedies, but usually it's gone before you get up to do them. Just lay there and focus in relaxing and breathing through it. Try and relax breathing, and that muscle. Eventually it will stop.

It may be even more sore tomorrow.

I had always heard that charlie horses like that were related to lack of potassium. I find that I get a lot of them if I'm running particularly hard that week, in which case electrolyte imbalance does make sense, though I think muscle fatigue and likely dehydration play a role for me as well.

Fastest way to get rid of it is to either walk on it or stretch it out, hard. Yes, this seems counterintuitive, but trust me, there is no amount of curling up your leg that will relax the muscle (oh, how hard I have tried), and walking and/or stretching will get rid of it in a few seconds.

Good luck with Black Friday. People are absolute beasts in situations like that. I avoid stores that day.

I had a dream last night that I was in my 20s and living in DC again. I hired Amneris as my lawyer for a bunch of money and medical record issues. But, Amneris was in her 60s.

Then I got hired as her body guard after Ninjadog was stalking her with a knife.

Then the scene abruptly changed and I was on a lake beach with my boyfriend. It was a lake except it was tidal and had big foamy white tide. I got smacked with a wave and was freaking out about my phone getting wet.

Then my mother apparated in and was telling me how to clean my phone.

Then the scene abruptly changed and I was in a threesome with Jondalar and Ayla. He gives pretty good oral.

What an odd dream set.

I read about the dehydration, I think that might have been it. No matter how much water I drank yesterday, I wasn't satisfied. I tried to walk but couldn't, I could barely move that leg

I had this happen once about 8 years ago. I woke up screaming and scared myself to death and freaked out my husband. It was so intense I couldn't even walk for a couple of days and still have no idea what caused it. Even though it's been quite a while since it happened it's still very vivid in my memory, pure misery.

Now that I walk for exercise (I certainly didn't do any exercise back then) I get leg cramps pretty frequently, more so if I don't stretch a few times during the day. Most of the time I feel it coming on and can avoid it by flexing my foot and trying to keep my foot moving around.

I hope it feels better fast.

Great. I scuffed my right shoe walking and the sole has started to peel off. Thanks damaged nerves, I've got to glue my shoe back together.

On the plus side, the surgeons secretary emailed me today to say she is re-planning his surgery lists to squeeze me in. Hopefully she'll phone soon.

Edit: I have no glue to fix my shoe.
