CP, you're awesome. End of story. I'll beat a fool up who makes you feel otherwise.

A libertine with a naughty cornbread hat.

(no idea why it's a hat, I just picture a libertine wearing a hat because they're fancy and indulgent...don't ask)
~~~~~~~~~~
I just spent the better part of an hour battling my (once adored) "pre-lit" (no longer) Christmas tree. I am now the proud owner of raw hands with tiny cuts on them and totally trashed broken finger nails. I'm so close to lighting this thing on fire. It would surely be "pre-F'n-lit" then.
Seriously? People are putting their Christmas trees up already? Im looking at you noisy neighbour blasting out xmas music. Just because it's December tomorrow doesn't mean we have to have everything decorated for an entire month and a bit.
It goes on so long your just sick of it all by the time xmas actually gets here!
If I'm going to be self-aware enough to know exactly what I'm doing to myself and why, can't I just go whole-hog and also be equipped with the ability to fix the problem?
The spinning smiley is doing truly disturbing things as the result of my web browser lagging.
I should be asleeeeeep, I should be asleeeeep, I don't wanna go to that place and I know that's why I'm not sleeping, but psyche, more time awake won't delay what happens in the morning, and the morning sucks even more when it's only a few hours away! Also, if you make it so you're absolutely dead afterward, you can't hit up Craigslist or update your resume or edit properly or get good writing done or even rant about Buffy on the internet! You like ranting! So sleep, dammit.
I thought about this being the culprit, but I have my own issues about ADD. I'll definitely keep you in mind though, thanks
I agree.
I will give people around here a pass on the outdoor Christmas lights though - I thought it was nutty that everyone had them out well before Thanksgiving, until I realized that everyone just wants to get them up before the first snow. Which I can be okay with, since I can't imagine trying to put lights on a snowy house or snowy bushes.
On a related note, I have never been happier about the location of my townhouse. If I were in the mirror image house on the other end of my building, my bedroom windows would be facing some of the tackiest flashing Christmas lights I've ever seen. As it is, I can still see them out my front window, reflecting in the fronts of the houses across the street. They are that bright.
----
Dear workplace: why are you freezing all. the. time. How about this: use less A/C in the summer, and with the money you save, you could actually use a proper amount of heat in the winter!
----
Dear vet hospital: you said you would call between 7 and 8, and here it is 8:07 and no call. You have my sick puppy and I want to know that he is okay. I am staying home until you call, because as soon as I hop in the car to drive to work, you will inevitably call while it is unsafe for me to answer.
I've woken up at 3am and not fallen asleep until 6am for two days in a row. My alarm usually goes off at 6:15. This is not good.
That one and Grown Up Christmas List by Vanessa Williams. Can't stand that song. Can't stand Vanessa Williams.
Yeah, I hate that one, too. It's dumb. Vanessa can have peace on earth; I want an iPad.
My job started playing Christmas music after Halloween -__- It's hard to tolerate it now but I did get a free picture with Santa(this was 2 weeks before Thanksgiving though). Why must everything start so early?
I need this app in my life:
Cool New Tool: Asian Market Shopper App - Viet World Kitchen
Also, I love me some Andrea Nguyen and I really have to put her Asian Dumplings book in my cart and take it off the wish list already.
Oh, I'm glad to know someone else finds it useful! It can be really confusing shopping at Asian markets, and I'm usually a bit too intimidated to ask!
I just finished two batches of vanilla oat milk --- one cooked and one raw. The description of the raw sounded not so appealing and I thought the cooked would be nicer, but the raw wins! Fresher flavor, and yes, a grassiness, but not at all unpleasant! Can't wait to make something like a panna cotta with it, or maybe a smoothie.
Although, now that I've added more vanilla to the cooked, I'm liking it more!
I love Daniel Craig:
"In a candid interview with the January issue of GQ magazine, the British actor branded the famous family as "f**king idiots," and RadarOnline.com has a preview of his no holds barred interview. The cutting comments came as 43-year-old Daniel Craig opened up for the first time about his marriage to fellow Brit, Rachel Weisz, who he secretly wed last June.
"I think there's a lot to be said for keeping your own counsel," he told the monthly men's magazine. "It's not about being afraid to be public with your emotions or about who you are and what you stand for. But if you sell it off it's gone. You can't buy it back – you can't buy your privacy back. " 'Ooh I want to be alone.' F*** you!" he said vehemently. "We've been in your living room. We were at your birth. You filmed it for us and showed us the placenta and now you want some privacy?"
As an example of his disgust with celebrities who sell out so blatantly for fame, Craig name checked Kim Kardashian and her clan. "Look at the Kardashians, they're worth millions. I don't think they were that badly off to begin with but now look at them," he explained. "You see that and you think, 'What, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f***ing idiot on television and then you'll pay me millions?' "
In regards to the Klassy Kardashian fam
