Say It. I Dare You.

Ugh. I didn't realize that you assumed I was taking you out all day Saturday in the city. Lunch, a show, dinner... Oy my wallet.
Gasp! CHF and curlypearl are the same person! Surely that is what your dream means.

Big ball of challah dough. How I love to see the little lovely bubbles of fermentation that speckle its surface.
Yay, my vanilla stash arrived a little while ago:

As soon as I opened the box, I got hit with the wonderful scent of vanilla.
I think the paste is an especially good deal. One pound will last me a while! The Nielsen Massey stuff is only four ounces, so this is definitely cheaper. And unlike the NM paste, this is unsweetened and contains more vanilla bean.
I won't be buying vanilla extract for a while, it seems.

I haven't been able to find any vanilla bean paste since we moved here...might have to order some. Evil internet.

We have a Christmas party to attend tonight for Mr. Springs work so I'll finally get to meet some folks he works with. I sorta dislike social things...I hope this evening isn't crappeh.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
This stuff is top quality Tahitian vanilla paste, spring, so you might want to try it out. Plus it's fair trade.

File putting the lid on your new, still stiff Pullman pan under things that are completely nerve-wracking. Also, lord, let my loaf have enough oven spring to fill it out as it should. Amen.
The Pullman pan was the workout for the bread you'll consume later?

Forget trying to remove the lid partway through baking. Damn new pan and lid. It doesn't slide easily the way a used one would.

The scent of delicious eggy cinnamon swirl challah has completely inundated this apartment. It's almost overpowering.

This other challah is waiting its turn:
I'm glad that I got that Sephora card in my email right when my foundation and mascara were running low. Great timing!

Honeycurls, don't fret. It's purely inconsequential considering the source.

So I got pulled over on my way to Nacogdoches for going 60 in a 55mph zone

And even though my license picture looks a hot mess, I only got a warning. He was really nice for a State Trooper.

To be honest, I thought he was pulling me over because I started weaving a little when I was trying to plug my cell into the charger.

Using my iphone with my toe thumbs. There will be typos.
My sister is nine years older than me and as a kid I was always trying to follow her around, which she of course hated so she was mean to me.

One year for Christmas I gathered up some sticks from our yard, wrapped them up and gave to her for Christmas. It was only because we had no coal in the yard or I would have given her both.
