Was just taking inventory of my cold weather gear and found this furry white hat. I don't remember buying it or ever wearing it. Does anybody remember coming to see me in a production of Doctor Zhivago which I somehow forgot about? Because that's the only reason I can see myself owning this hat.

So Dh finally got home from his xmas party, 5 hours later. He said it was worse than he expected. I'm glad his excuse worked for me :P and OMG he was just telling me about the gifts everyone got.
This year, everyone got their usual popcorn and fragrance, then they had individual gifts for everyone. The difference in those gifts value is profound. A few people got very expensive gifts worth several hundred dollars while others got gifts worth less than $20. That man just does not think.
A lot of the people who work there are pretty catty under normal circumstances, with this the **** is going to hit the fan.

Nah, I don't think it's just that you're interested in his career. You both have the same type of interests given your talents and career choices. Much in common!

Oh, I know that, but I was wondering maybe he takes the fact that I show-up 3.5 hours away to see kids I don't even know do a play just because I'm really into the play and not because HELLO! I like you!

What a day. Nuts. Crazy. I can't wait until this month ends.
Christmas and New Year's Eves are on Saturday this year. I'm going to need a Monster drip to make it.
Siri types my posts for me.

[QUOTE=CanItBeChristine;1833523] Or do I make my Facebook status "Sometimes when I'm around people I really really like and get a little nervous, I say 'I love you' to them."

CIBC, I think it definitely sounds like he likes you. I don't think most guys act that way with girls they aren't interested in. Guys are less likely to be friendly and attentive if they don't find you attractive, and they don't really friend zone people like girls do. I think you should ask him out! At this point, you really like him and could see a longer-term thing with him--wouldn't it suck to find out years down the road that you both really liked each other, but were too shy to take a chance?
If nothing else, do it so I can live vicariously through you!

Earlier at the grocery..
Me: I think I'm going to get some pretzels, haven't had any in a while.
Mr S: Yeah, I'm not interested at all in those.
After we got home...
Me: Think I'll open these up and have a few, want one?
Mr S: Not even a little bit.
A few moments ago I went to get a snack...
Mr S: Whatcha got?
Me: Pretzels with mascarpone to dip them in.
Mr S: Can I try one?
4.3 seconds later...
Mr S: Where is all that at...I want some.
Uh-huh.

I cracked up at his goofy open-mouthed grin while he sprinted away. I recall people mentioning that this Xmas movie existed, but I'm so glad I never got roped into watching it! So many great moments in this review. ("Give. The kid. A twenty, you B@STARD!")
LAwoman, how stabby did season 7 make you from a scale of 1 to my reaction to MagicCrack? I'd like to estimate my odds of head implosion.

CIBC -- Tony Little told me to tell you "JUST DOOO EEEETTTT!!" So, you just have to ask that guy out cuz Tony says so. If you're uncomfortable asking him on a 'date' date, just ask him for lunch or coffee to start. And I think it is so amusing that you blurted out ILU. It's amazing how that pops out sometimes.

13 dozen sugar cookies. These plain simple cookies are everyone's favorite. The recipe was given to me 30+ years ago and I make them often. They don't have the same texture as they used to due to the change in sugar these days, but they are still light and tender and crunchy.
Wish I didn't have to go to work today so I could keep baking. 50 dozen in the can. 20-30 dozen more should do it.

His parents were at the show the next day...I was so annoyed I didn't go then...because then I could have totally charmed them and went for dinner with the family and that would have been IT!
We've gone to a couple of shows together in the past, and he gets really awkward, asks 1001 questions, about everything, and asks, "I'm asking too many questions, aren't I?"
Once he broke-out into humming The Wedding March pre-show. I said, "Are you humming the wedding march?" and he said, "...Yes. I'm not sure WHY exactly I am, though."
And then once I went to see him act in a play last year and I was with a friend and we were all going in opposite directions. I didn't need to take the subway because I was just walking a few blocks, but he kept going, "You're not taking the subway? It's cold. You should take the subway..."
My friend told me it was obvious that he was trying to get me to ride the subway with him, but seriously, for what? Thirty seconds? I kinda didn't want to indulge his reluctance to just be like, "Let's get coffee!"
And then he said he was starring in a show with a big festival upstate.
I said that was great and I'd try to go, since I have a car and all of that (and pretty much nothing to do).
Then he said it was actually the tour.
I said, "Well, if it's anywhere drivable, I could come (since I have a car.)"
He gets all awkward and said he'll let me know if there are any shows on the tour nearby but there probably won't be.
I think this all sounds strange since he has made it a point to invite me to every random little thing he's done since I've met him.
I do some research.
He's in the show which is an abridged version which is touring middle schools for assemblies.
Why on earth did he feel the need to conceal that? Anybody who knows me would know that I think that fitting theatre into sixty minutes and introducing 13-year-olds to it is pretty great.
I think he has a very fragile ego. I wish he could get that I'm probably just as insecure........................................

darn it! Bane is laying eggs. She's laid 19 so far. Female breaded dragons can lay infertile eggs. Some lay several clutches every year like clockwork, and some never do. I was hoping she'd be the latter. It's really hard on them. Why couldn't she be a boy like we wanted!!! I'm too much of a worrywort for this!
