It is very sweet, less so if made at home, but still very sweet. We use it in birthday cakes, but pineapple is usually my favorite Dominican birthday cake filling. Guava is probably second. Guava paste is good with cheese so the salt plays off the sweetness. I can't eat it on its own though.
I do love, love, love fresh guavas, though, and I can't resist buying some whenever I go by Patel Brothers or another ethnic market. I used to eat them so often in DR, and now I eat them every few years.

For those of you that like MMO's, I'm spilling the beans. SWTOR sucks. My husband's been beta testing it, and it is a hot mess. It is not even close to what they promised. It has tons of graphics and mechanic issues. It is shockingly rough for a game about to be released. There are cheaply made free to play MMOs with less issues.

He's been so psyched about this game for years, and he genuinely wants this game to be great. It's been rather annoying actually. I've been forced to watch every video, and listen to every news release, and sit through many discussions about this game. DH asked yesterday on the forums what their plans were to fix some of issues and improve long term playablity. They banned him for trolling.

Sometimes I wonder if my shallowness is just epic. I mean, I encounter so few guys that I think are hot, yet most people date a hell of a lot more than I do, so clearly they're attracted to each other. Granted that attraction isn't always physical, but that's only if they got to know each other first. Most of the time it's people they randomly encounter and approach because they think they're hot. So yeah, I must just be extra shallow.

Is "hot" the right word? When I think that someone is hot I think, "Oh sweet Jesus that man shouldn't be allowed out among mere mortals because of the blinding affects of his hotness." But there are plenty more people that I think are super attractive, pretty attractive, reasonably attractive, attractive, not bad, okay, etc. And there are people who I think aren't objectively actually hot/that attractive but who just do it for me physically for some reason (that's without even getting to know them first). If most people only held out for hot, there'd be a lot less sex happening.

I freakin' love my step-grandma! We have Sunday dinner at our house every week, so she was over last night... We asked if she had any ornament hanger things we could borrow, and she said she'd bring them over today...

Lo and behold, she showed up with boxes of ornaments/decorations, and is redecorating our tree for us! It really looked horrible before, because it's such a cheesy tree. It's looking pretty awesome now!

I don't complicate it that much. Hot = I am drawn like a moth to a flame. Now, upon further acquaintance, this person may cease to hold any attraction over me, even if objectively I still think they're gorgeous.
But initial attraction is based purely on hotness since I know nothing about the person. And it's either hot or not. Though yes, sometimes that might be someone who wouldn't be considered hot by most people.
Last guy, it was attraction not based on hotness, but personality. Then I thought he was quite hot.

I got a key that worked for like three days over thanksgiving weekend (I guess they were testing server load) and the couple hours I played were fun, but definitely rough.

Graphically very choppy on my PC, even with really low settings. Made turning with the mouse nearly impossible.

I might be tempted to try it in a few months if the kinks get worked out.

I think she's a good actress. Terrible dresser most of the time (except for that yellow dress and a couple of others), but good, likable actress. She doesn't really look like MM, though, especially in terms of figure.

I want a hobby but have no idea what to do, although I like the idea of jewellery/hair piece making. But I have to go out to get the stuff and I can't walk about in crowds at the moment.

I have to lie down half the day and it's not easy to lie on my back because the pressure hurts. I lie on the sofa when I have to. Maybe I should become nocturnal?

Oh god.

Also my boiler is shagged again. Sexyboy is on it and should be popping round this week to see me. There will be no shenanigans because I can't (even though I want to ) and my mum is still here until Thursday afternoon.

On the plus side my bandages can come off on Friday.
