Thanks Saria and springy. I usually do not let my age get me down but I feel like I have aged this past year. I am blaming B He blames me for his grey hair-it's only fair. And you guys saw the GOOD pics

Yes, it's all his fault!

Hi, KP, and thanks.

So, the duck breasts for our special became family meal today. I made duck breast in red curry sauce. The picky Panamanian dishwasher (who says he will not eat fish unless his mother or grandmother cooks it, so even if Thomas Keller offered to cook him a piece of fish, he'd say no) put ketchup on his food without even tasting it as he does with all his food.
It's a good thing that nothing goes together like duck breast, red curry, coconut milk and ketchup!

I'd know if I had appendicitis, right? Ever since discovering WebMD a few years ago, every couple of months I convince myself that I have appendicitis, any time I have even the slightest abdominal pain.
It's really quite ridiculous.

It'd be terribly inconvenient to have it during finals week... Not to mention this close to Christmas!

Whoa, whoa, whoa, Saria - are you saying that Buffy's going to manage to turn cookie dough into a bad thing?? Madness! Madness, I say!

And I actually failed to see where on your face the mole had been until I saw it in the third picture and then scrolled back up. Also, I join the others in saying that you are gorgeous and I am jealous.

When my sister had hers, it was extremely painful. In my family you didn't go to the doctor unless it was bad, and if it could wait, it did. They rushed her to the ER.

Stay off webmd. They have a knack finding the scariest possibility for every symptom.

There is so much cream cheese, butter and sugar in my oven right now I'm pretty sure I'm gaining weight just smelling it.

Lard help me.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

Note to self, don't drink so much coffee when I have an assignment due. My hands are so jittery right now I couldn't draw a straight line to save my life.

It has cranberries, lemon juice and cream cheese all of which I really needed to use up.

I've had appendicitis. You know when you have something serious like that. I was both cold and hot within moments, couldn't keep food in, felt very queasy, and eventually found the area near my appendix to be extremely sensitive and sore.

I like WebMD too, but it can be tempting if you're prone to hypochondria (no offense).

Oh, it's no one here who's in danger. It's random people from the past who haven't bothered growing up...I don't enjoy reading people's nasty drama (fights with exes, passive agressive digs, or just plain ol' TMI).

None taken! I definitely have hypochondriac tendencies!

What should I do with my remaining pistachio paste? Other than eating with a spoon!

Pistachio creme brle/ pots de creme?
Pistachio pudding? I was thinking a double-layered pudding with chocolate cream on the bottom
Pistachio souffle? Maybe with a molten chocolate center
Pistachio cookies dipped in chocolate and filled with chocolate mousse?
Pistachio and cranberry clafoutis?
Pistachio butter cookies?
Sicilian pistachio bars?
Pistachio macaroons? Not Parisian ones as I don't like them that much especially for the effort
Thumbprints with pistachio centers?
Pistachio cardamom cookies?
So many choices!

I'm voting option one or two because I could really go for either of those right now.
