I was taking Mucinex which usually works great for me, but nothing was happening so I thought trying something different may work. I think Mr. Spring is headed back to Walgreens today to get more Mucinex because what we had may have been expired (it was some he got from the "Doc" at work and there was no date on it, but we got it earlier in the year). What he got for me yesterday is similar to Sudafed.

All I can think about are the Nyquil commercials where they show the person sleeping so soundly...I'd love to get a good nights sleep. Marketing works!

I will sort of miss Gerard, though.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
I keep getting headaches and nothing is helping.
Fat does not make you fat. It's actually pretty important.
Some days, I still miss my length. But, I can't deny that my curl pattern shows better on short hair. Curls are so danged fun.

Every time that one commercial comes on with the Josh Groban song You Raise Me Up, I always stop whatever I'm doing and listen.

The Houston Chronicle has an article today about some creative baby names that people in the area came up with for their children.

For girls: Amazing-Grace, A'Miracle, Apple, Babygirl, Beyonce (why?), Dae'Gorgeous, Gorgeousg'zaiya (not a typo), Paisley-Ann, and Praisegod

For boys: Divine-Favour, Godswill, Goodness, Jesus-Nazaret (Christ, reborn I'm sure of it), Sir Genius, Tuff, and Dallas Cowboys.

I'm planning on topping all these by naming my future daughter "Queen Brigitte Her'Excellency Supreme-Leader del Universe y TheChosenOne"

I just want to do what I want to do when I want to do it.
I want those manicotti shells that's stuffed with ricotta. They can't be that hard to make.

Yay!

I got a last minute request to overnight a sweet black and white pitty named Isabella. Her smile is so wide it divides her big face in half.

A total sweetheart.

I notice someone liked my post and then they must have unliked it. Weird... It actually makes me feel kinda bad. Even if I liked someone's comment by accident I don't think I'd... do that.
I need my body to get better, my mouth tastes like sickness. It's gross and weird, I just want to get better.

Dry dusting makes me feel kind of ucky, like dust is still around, even though I vaccummed well. I can't stand the scent of furniture polish though. I don't think it helps to eliminates dust or whatever its purpose is.
Seeing all the messages on FB is kinda depressing me. All the stuff being posted about feeling blessed and how great and life-changing this year was and I basically feel empty. It's all the same. Sigh.
grounded for new years, bleh. I had a such a cute outfit too :/

also, a thought: so i'm busting my ass to get into college, so i can get a job, so i can pay back my college loans. what.

I don't mean to sound like a witch, but I can not wait until you go back to work. Ugh. There is going to be one heck of a vent next week!

Yep it's been pretty slow around here, too. I've been listening to Tina Fey's autobiography Bossypants on my Iphone the last 2 days.

LOVED it!

Saria, can I leave the cream of tartar out of the Japanese cheesecake and it still turn out ok?

Yes, but why don't you have cream of tartar?!
I haven't bought any in ages.

If you could see the crowded mess that is my spice cabinet you'd understand why I can't buy even one. more. thing. to put in there.
