Just a PSA.

Zinc lozenges (Cold Ease, Zicam etc), Echinacea, and Vitamin C -- plus ginger, garlic and TONS of water at the FIRST sign of illness really do help to shorten the severity and duration of a sinus-related illness. But you do have to take them early--and with consistency.

And for flu-related illness, Elderberry extract and that homeopathic stuff they sell called Oscillococcinum works well, too.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

And impressive spelling.^
My friend who was completely obsessed with getting married when she was single and then was really really crazy when she was a bride planning the wedding, just confided in me this morning that she's really stressed that her husband will cheat on her.

I have no idea what to tell her besides just listen to her.

I mean...I can hardly tell her, "It will never happen! You're amazing and he's a wonderful guy!" We live in a world where a lady as fabulous as Maria Shriver gets cheated on!
Ugh, this period I'm having is so weird. It's like it's going in reverse and getting heavier each day. Do. Not. Like.

My neighbors are smoking. I know because the secondhand smoke is coming into my apartment. What the hell? I wish this were illegal.

I don't know whether to offer you hugs, a bottle of wine, and either an I'm sorry or congratulations that you won't have to deal with all that stress ever again.
So, I'm sorry, but I'm also kinda relieved for you.
I'm so sorry TRBL. I know you weren't happy there, but I'm sure you still would have preferred to end it on your own terms.

I can't help but feel there is a gigantic silver lining here, though.
Me too
