Would have been 22 years next month.
I am so sorry. That really sucks.

Thanks again. He's still waiting for HR to call and go over his final pay and whether he will get severance. I know we're very lucky because we have savings to fall back on for 5-6 months, even without severance, but it still sucks. One medical emergency and we're screwed. Mostly I just feel so helpless because there's nothing I can say or do to make him feel better and I'm very sad for him. He has a lot of close friends and business acquaintances in the industry and has a very good reputation. Hopefully he can find something else soon. He is very concerned about his age. And though he's only 43, I can't say that his concern isn't justified in this job market.

I always liked Camille, but this past season, I think she's even more likeable. Sometimes she looks really pretty, too.

So sorry to hear that Nallia. I hope he finds another job quickly. Hugs to you.

Last night while grating cheese I also grated the top of my knuckle off. It hurts! I grate cheese multiple times a week. It's been years since I've done that. I feel like an idiot.

I get those every month about a week before my period would be due. Always have. They're the worst!

Too funny (well not really cuz they suck) but I get them the week of my period and it will typically last 2-3 days.

Thanks! I am hoping a piece of a crispy apple pie (recipe courtesy of King Arthur Flour) will make me not think about it so much

I get those, too. My remedy involves ibuprofen and lots of chocolate.

(((Nallia)))

Why does blackstrap molasses have such a bad reputation? Is it the sulphured stuff giving it all a bad name? My parents kept telling me how nasty it is, but I love it! I've started taking a teaspoonful twice a day in hopes of healing my stomach lining (already found it works for temporary heartburn prevention - yay!) and it feels like that scene from Mary Poppins where the medicine tastes good and the kids are like =O.

I think I want to die of embarrassment! I didn't know what I had written on this board until I got up this morning and saw the thread. I took an Ambien before bed last night and apparently I slept walk, helped myself to some cookies and NyQuil! I'm lucky I didn't OD myself!
