I can tell the mime to get a camera crew together and we can make a documentary about us looking for ginger beer.
I am so on board with this idea, it's not even funny.
When you find it can you invite us all over for Dark & Stormies???

Pregnancy with #1, then no periods for 15 months, then very sporadic and scanty ones for a couple of years while nursing - maybe 7 or 8 of them in that time - then pregnancy again and more nursing. I thought that since I pump in the day at work it would come back faster, but no sign of it yet. I'm not complaining, but ok, well, maybe a little bit because it makes birth control tough and it makes me anxious that it won't be there when I need it (to get pregnant.)
Coming out of lurking because I just had to comment.

Mine came back after 3 years, in November. After not having one for so long, it has been all kinds aggravating to have to deal with one every 28 days. It just seems like with the exception of 4 days, my body is always doing something in preparation for my period. I have a friend who says she loves getting hers because she feels renewed by the cleanse every month. Although I'm sure she's not alone in her thinking, I think she's nuts. I'd like for her to have just one cycle like mine, and then she can get back to me about how she feels renewed every month.

I do realize that for women who are in reproduction mode, menstruation takes on a special significance. I hope you get yours soon?
Well, not TOO soon... a few more months off would be nice!

You ain't kiddin'.

I've got both ends of the spectrum going.

One end is women should have the right to choose and the other end is full on God says you're going to hell if you don't save the babies.

You really get to know more about some folks than you want to sometimes on FB.

as a person born from a country under French colonism i am very interested in this movie. i find it curious that after the Haitian Revolution the country was controlled by the elite few(mulattos) just like VN of today.

so much is known about the Vietnam War but nothing of the French rule that raped the country of its resources. did you know that pre-French rule VN had one of the highest literacy rates in Asia. after it was colonized it dropped to 10%. thats why i find it disgusting when older Viets romanticizes the French period - my dad being one.

Indeed. Can you imagine the abortion rate if men had to have babies? I'm not being sarcastic. It would go through the roof.

It's okay. There's no rationalizing with people like that; they're so convinced of their position that you could show all the data in the world that proved they were wrong and they would still say they were right.

We're under a blizzard warning until 5 AM tomorrow. The snow is supposed to continue all day tomorrow and we could have 2 feet in the ground by the time it's done. It hasn't started yet. I need to go to the supermarket to pick up a prescription refill but I'm going to wait and take the jeep tomorrow instead. The stores are all full of crazies today!

Be safe. I never thought I would say this but I am missing the snow we are not getting this winter.
