Oh my god, New York Times, why did you ever think publishing this was a good idea?
This is seriously creepy!

im in the computer lab at school and the administrator is smacking ridiculously loud on his gum and laughing out loud and whatever is on his computer screen.

I would shoot him dirty looks but I don't think it will make much of a difference.
I am seriously creeped out by the idea of that woman being a mother and a teacher in her current mental state. What if her behavior escalates from carving words on a bathroom stall to attacking some poor little girl? Someone on staff should have sent the story of her sexualized obsession with her son and his classmates to a healthcare professional instead of publishing it for all to see as if it were some sweet human interest piece.
OMG, LOOK!!

...It's a siggie.
Dear Funk-I'm-In,

Take a hike. A long one. In the other direction.

Thanks!!

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
Ricky Gervais and Jon Stewart had me laughing until I cried. He was on Jon's show last night and I always the repeat the next day. Too damn funny!!

I think the creepy teacher teaches writing at her son's school. She probably just has his class for writing.

I am being so irrational, I'm gonna blow. I can not believe you didn't ask about ours. We practically would have given it to you. Anything you want, just ask. We are willing to leave most things behind. It is bigger then what you are going to get. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.

Rational side: I guess you just don't have any interest in it. And that is okay. It really is.
I get annoyed when I have a conversation with my dad and he reminds me that no matter what, "SO and I should remain together for the child". I seriously want him to STFU, I do not believe that bullskish and why must he say that almost every time I talk to him, dammit. Our conversation could be about rockroad ice cream and somehow he throws in his unsolicited piece relationship advice.

As a child, I knew my dad was up to no good, I felt the tension and saw the arguments which led to me having anxiety issues as a kid and etc. I was glad when he moved out and I know if they did stay together, my life would have been hell and my mom would have remained depressed. Also, if my mom didn't leave my dad when it came to light that he had been cheating on her for years and allowing the other woman to call and taunt her then I know I would feel a certain way towards her for allowing him to disrespect and treat her like dirt.

And then he tries to rationalize his infidelity when there's no excuse. And he believes that his cheating didn't or shouldn't have phased me since I was a kid when it occured...-__- He's mad that he lost his family but, it's his fault, considering she gave him a second chance but like a dumbass he messed up again only 3months after she let him back. Claiming she didn't give you "sex" because she had deep rootly issues from childhood is not a valid excuse and as a spouse that makes you pretty damn insensitive and heartless to go outside the relationship instead of helping her. Also, my parents had 4 kids and she was the primary caretaker because dad was out ca-noodling with other females and I bet she was worn out too. But that's my opinion. And my dad doesn't like to acknowledge my POV because being young and all means I'm a braindead bump on the log or better yet I will always be wrong or my opinion isn't worthy of his ears because he is older and I am suppose to respect his age and do as he says. -___-

i'm sorry folks, but there are days when i just cannot BELIEVE the country you live in and what some people there do:

Daily Kos: Virginia House getting all up in your*vagina

yes, we do have uber-conservatives in Canada, but even the most extreme right-wing of our current gov't is making no headway in getting the Prime Minister to agree to over-turning our abortion and gay marriage laws.

i read the above and just went:

so, um.... remember that job i told you about last week, where they want me to come and take over as admin assistant to the Regional Senior Justice????

it turns out that it is one pay grade above my current one. which works out to about $4,000 per year.

now when you're single and in your 50s and you have a mortgage, i know that every penny counts. but is $4,000 enough?

the job is LESS busy than the one i have now and the team is WAY smaller - 6 people. i really like my co-workers, i have a GREAT boss, and i love the variety and challenges this job brings.

the senior judges' suites all have gorgeous views of the river and the west side of the city, so i worry that i'd be tempted to look outside a lot - especially in the summer when they will be playing baseball games at Labatt Park across the river (it's a perfect view of the playing field). it's a pro and a con.

they also replace the senior judges every 5 years. the current one is a very nice woman; what if the next one turns out to be a bugaboo???

then again, my current boss is also not far from retirement - i'd say he's planning to leave in 5 years.

i just don't know what to think...

anyone able to offer any guidance?
