Sigh. A mussels order came back because "she got one that was ice cold". Ummm, the mussels are cooked to order. When they cook, they open. In order to cook and open, they have to get pretty hot. Therefore, seeing as how you got a bowl of open, steaming mussels, it's safe to say that it would violate all natural order for you to get an ice cold one. Maybe next time stop chit-chatting and drinking when your food arrives. Or continue doing so, but you can't then send your food back for being cold!

Ran into another extreme couponer. She helped me out and I ended up with 40 free Chapsticks

I made my first trip down to the YWCA shelter (to drop off items for the pantry). I knew one of the girls. Man, that was hard.

I think my cookie would read:

Remember that time a friend read your palm and said that oddly you had almost no love line? Dude was right.

Sigh. I remembered this incident recently. He said he did see money in my future though. Uh, where's my money, universe? Of course, you would keep that from me as well!

I have a feeling that someone's been sipping from my grapefruit juice and I'm not happy. If I find that the seal has been broken on my cap heads are going to roll.

Send this friend my way! I want my palm read. I had a reading in Hawaii once and the lady told me that I would marry an older man, live the white picket fence line and travel a lot......

At least she got the travel part right....wait, did she say I would marry later in life. I don't remember.

Working demo tends to get one a fan club. Mine is mostly kids, because, as one of the other demo people says, 'They recognize one of their own.'

One of them brought me in a picture that she drew. She did pretty well. She gave me big feet, a big head, and a big cloud of hair. She also drew a shadow, which was interesting. You don't see that very often.

Siri types my posts for me.

I like the shadow. That little girl has some vision.

I wonder if she will be an artist.

I avoid anime because I feel any good concept devolves into a mess as the show goes on.
As a kid, vaguely remember Sailor Moon. Didn't make much sense after a while.
Dragon Ball Z went on forever.
Yugi-Oh just seemed to make up new stuff on the fly.
Was reading about the plot of Death Note. Sounds interesting enough, and then what the hell? Why is it all so damn convoluted?
This is why shows like Avatar work for me. Beautiful animation, like anime, but reined in by Western storytelling.
I hope Puella Magi Madoka Magica has some storytelling restraint, because I'd like to follow along when Mark gets to it.

I was at walmart looking for something in the craft section when the song Kokomo by the beach boys came one. For reasons I can not explain, my normally shy self felt compelled to sing quietly to myself. Perhaps I thought it was safe because no one goes to the craft section. Next thing I know I'm dancing as I walk down the isles. I did this little spin, and that's why I spied with my little eye a really cute guy standing standing at the end of the isle with a big smile on his face trying not to laugh. I had finally found what I was looking for and I really needed it. So I opted to just play it cool and pretend like nothing happened. he played along except for the occasional sideways glance that he was trying to do in secret. I hope that means it was he thought it was a cute funny thing and not a people of walmart thing.

Trust me when I say spend the 50 bucks and get it fixed!
Or it will end up costing upwards 1500!
btw...they didn't want to pull mine b/c the doc said it happened to be an important tooth...it's in the upper right side.
I can show you pics if you wanna see

I admit I giggled at FB friend's pic of homemade Belgian waffles clearly topped with spray can "whipped cream". It just seems so contradictory. But then, I'd bet money that homemade is actually made at home from a box mix.

Breakfast talk!! My stomach is growling and threatening to eat itself. (gross) I wish breakfast would hurry up and be done already and I hope it's good.

I had the weirdest dreams last night and I think it may be because I did yard work yesterday so I think today I should try and avoid it.

If I could stop being lazy, I'd walk over to Parrot Coffee Market to pick up some yogurt. Then I'd make a little strawberry powder and stir it and a little vanilla bean in.
And I'd buy the mango and arugula for my smoothie.
Alright, getting up and groomed any time now!

Due to recent discussions, I'd like to say that I've never liked peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Peanut butter in anything not fully sweet pretty much makes me gag. Like, I have to do everything in my power to not spit it out. So, peanut butter cookies are good, but peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or those salty crackers with peanut butter? No good.
BUT! Then I realized that it's actually only commercial peanut butter that poses this problem. Commercial peanut butter is just so overly sweet, and has this weird flavor that natural peanut butter just doesn't have. I can eat natural peanut butter in anything ---- sweet or savory!
Just thought I'd share.
